The line staff were all incredibly rude, and seemed very short fused and irritated. Then when you need a refill of a drink there you have to get up and go squeeze in between the rush of people in the line. The food quality was not good at all. The pickle slices were the best thing I ate there. All the meats are stiff and super dry, the sides were not hot, they were lukewarm and room temperature. Overall it was not good, and we won't go back.
Usually great. This last visit had a young blonde girl that was more concerned about being quick than providing good customer service. This resulted in a lot of repeating and messed up orders to fix, negating any benefit of her quickness. Conclusion, she just wanted to be done with you. I hate my generic description because that is 1/4 of the staff, but she was at the to-go register "helping" a manager
Went up there for peach cobbler to go. We paid, and sat there waiting for 20 minutes. Finally asked someone how long it will be, and they just walked over and put it in a bag. It was already pre-made and waiting the entire time...but nobody gave it to us. They just took our money and went back to doing nothing. Also...the peach cobbler is pretty bad. It's super thick like peanut butter.
Ordered a regular [1 plate] take out on a tuesday evening. The order took 45 minutes to prep and deliver. It would have been quicker to allow take out orders through the regular line. I sat long enough to watch people get their plates, finish their meal and leave. There were a few people waiting on their to go orders as well with the same concern. The food was good although I will be making my order elsewhere from now on. Sorry Spring Creek , this is unacceptable.
We bought food for a friend whose brother died. They appreciated the food. Spring Creek is one of their favorite barbecue restaurants.
Love the bbq brisket and ribs, potato salad , rolls and crisp red onion and pickles ..great Togo packed up ? nicely . Love their sauce . Great food
I would definitely recommend ordering to go. They seem to prioritize those orders rather than those dining in. We waited over 30 mins for bread. The girl was boxing up all the bread that she had just baked.
One of my favorite bbq places in town. The meat is always excellent. The brisket is tender, the sausage is consistent and tasty, and their sides are all wonderful. I especially enjoy their ribs. The potato salad changed recently and I am not a fan of the change. On Sundays they give out free blue bell ice cream, which goes great with their made from scratch peach cobbler. I have had bad luck with their takeout experience, including missing food and very slow. But overall this is great place to enjoy bbq.
For some fast BBQ it's good. Love the roasted chicken too but the okra is out of this ?
I've been going here for years. I'm usually very happy. However, this most recent visit was a bit disappointing. Where once you could get your own sides, you are now served by staff and are limited to two. I understand that COVID could be the reason for part of this change, but you still serve yourself on the condiments. The biggest change seemed to be price. My wife and I used to get our meals and a shared dessert for the mid $30 range. Now mid $50 range. I know about inflation and supply chain, but this seems excessive. In short, still great food, but now paying more for less. I'm sure I'll be back, but not nearly as often.
