Very clean. I met a friend there for lunch. I don't eat meat but enjoyed the baked potato and lemonade. He really liked the BBQ ribs and chopped beef. We didn't like the potato salad.
The food is great here. The service is awesome. I went to the original Long ago when I lived in Pleasanr Grove and it was amazing then and is still amazing. Gluten free options egg free options. Just ask they will give you the info you need.
This was always my favorite bbq place but after half my ribs are burned and like leather the last 3 times I ordered I just don't know what to do. This was my go to rib place but not now. I quit saying anything about it because it makes me feel like I look bad. They are too expensive to not get decent ribs though. Another problem I have is I NEVER GET any condiments that I order lately like onion and sometimes Texas toast. I'm picky, I do know this but in all honesty I would never eat bbq without onion and I don't have it here. My mother ate her meal and because I had no onion I didn't even want mine. I got a sandwich and 2 veggies this time since I keep wasting my money on burned ribs. Not even worth eating without onion. I'm handicapped so taking it back is just too hard. I had frozen pizza tonight.
Was expecting better based on the previous reviews. The brisket lacks flavor, it was served cold and failed to deliver when compared to other bbq spots in Dallas. The sausages were good buy overall a 2 star due to not delivering on a flavorful serving of the brisket.
I went here yesterday after a dr. Appt and I have a fractured knee and I am on crutches and no weight bearing and was going to get dinner for me and my 82 yr old homebound mother and I couldn't get out of my vehicle. I was just going to order and take it home and was refused service by the manager. I went to Spring Creek Barbecue where I was served curbside and they were vert nice to me and understood my condition. I will be complaining to corporate about this.
Really good bbq and customer service!
I went in today to pick up an order to go. A common symptom is that they were out of ribs again, come on at 4:00 P.M.!! They seem to only have very little meats on hand. The side orders were skimpy at best, after all how much does cabbage, coleslaw or potato salad cost. Gee come on. At least they could give you a full scope. It looks like time to look else where for my BBQ.
Ribs were good but chopped brisket was awful. It was cold and Grey, not even chopped, it was pushed through a grinder creating a terrible texture. I won't get brisket if I ever come back again
Can't go wrong at Soulman's! Whether you are getting a loaded baked potato or just a chopped sandwich...it is always good! And if you haven't had the fried cabbage, I would definitely recommend it!!
