Wish there was an option for no stars. Took about 10 minutes for the server to ask for our beverages and took even longer to order our food.. Our waitress was not very professional either somewhat had some negative attitude when she was serving us.. there was 2 families that were sat after us and they were served their food before us. We ended up getting full off of our chips and salsa instead of the food we ordered that we never received. Will definitely not be going back to that location after tonight
The new honey chipotle shrimp tacos were great. My husband had the ranchiladas and they were cooked nice and tasted pretty good. There was a lot of interviewing happening but the staff did not miss a beat. Service was prompt and and accurate.From a sales standpoint the server did not ask if we wanted and appetizer, a drink or a dessert. Who knows maybe we would've purchased more.
If I could leave 0 zero stars I would! Our waitress (Not trying to sound racist) but the black/mixed girl that had curly hair was VERY disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. She greeted us as if she did not want to be there. Every other table around us that had over 5 people had received their food way before us.. because of her we will NEVER be back to this location and we are almost every other day because of the food and service. But she definitely needs to go somewhere where is she is NOT providing face to face customer service. Body language and attitude is uncalled for. If she does NOT to work there ok fine. But DONT make it obvious. Definitely think company can do much better without her on staff..
CAPRICE IS AMAZING!!! ?I use to go to the South Arlington location but it has gone down hill recently. Everyone needs to go to this Mansfield location and see Caprice she will take care of you!!Amazing customer service ??Update:CAPRICE IS NOW MANAGER AT GRAND PRAIRIE! This On The Border always provides a nice experience. If you don't have Larry as your waiter, you're missing out. We were greeted with a smile and some of the best service we have ever recieved. This review is for the To-Go option. It was my first time ordering take out from this location. I ordered online at 1:45pm Saturday, selected a time to pick up at 2:15pm, and headed out to pick it up. I arrived at 2:08pm, parked in the Curbside parking area, called the number listed on the sign and spoke with someone advising I was here, gave them my name and stall number upon request. I waited about 10+ minutes, and called back letting them know I was still outside. The lady I spoke with said, “. . . I left them a note. I guess I can get it and bring it out to you.” I waited another 10 minutes, then finally went in to the To Go entrance. The lady at the counter was on the phone, so I waited for her to end her call. I advised her I had been waiting for my order at curbside. She asked for my name and went to check status. In the interim, 2 other waitresses came out at different times and asked if I needed help. I told them I was being helped and still waiting on my order. At the same time, a manager came out to speak with the waitresses and didn’t acknowledge me. A third waitress came out and asked if I needed help? I told her I wasn’t sure, and went on to explain to her how long I had been waiting. The lady that was checking on my order originally, came out, sat my bag and drinks on the counter, said they were waiting on my fish tacos to be ready. I only ordered 1 of the 4 create-your-own. I asked her if she knew what the issue was since I ordered online over 60 minutes ago. She looked at me and walked away. She didn’t acknowledge anything was wrong, nor did she apologize. What’s the point of ordering online and setting a time for pick up, pulling up to a curbside stall, calling to say I arrived and giving my stall number, only to go inside and wait another 15 - 20 minutes!? This place is poorly managed and needs to teach their staff how to be customer oriented. Not only that, the pick up area appears old and dirty. A glimpse of the kitchen wasn’t appealing either. I will not be going back. I’m very upset. It almost ruined my Saturday with my family.
If you order to go make sure to check it before you leave. Didnt get my queso and they only gave me one little hotsauce for a dinner for 3 people.

The food was good, didn't exactly look as the menu advertised though. Not many fries for the kids meal and my meal that came with avocado didn't even look like a 1/4 that the picture in the menu depicted. The main reason we won't be back was the service. Waiter hardly checked on us, no water refills. Asked for more salsa and sour cream, he forgot. When he brought our receipt back to sign he forgot our card. We had to ask another waiter to track our waiter down so we could get it and leave.
