Had lunch here on a Friday. The food is great, and the salsa was very good as well. The tea was delicious. I’m adding this place to my list!Update: 3 months later, came for lunch and ordered the combo fajitas. The food was great. But, this is not fajita meat, this is beef steak cooked and sliced in strips and cooked fajita style. A lot of restaurants have fajitas on their menu but then the food comes out it’s not fajita meat it’s steak or some other side of beef. Or maybe it’s the way it’s prepped. I’m used to having fajitas marinated for a day or so and tenderized before cooking.

I got combo #2 during lunch hour specials (12pm to 4pm). The enchilada was pretty good. Taco was okay as meat was a bit salty.Server was great and attentive. Def come! They have great happy hours too for drinks on weekdays.Price is a tiny tiny bit higher than that reflected on the menu prob due to inflation.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. There's inconsistencies in quality of food and most definitely the service. The staff is incredibly unprofessional, condescending, and wildly rude. I wouldn't dine here if it were the last establishment in Texas. I've had way better service and higher quality food elsewhere. I'll stick to those establishments that provide their clientele excellence in the experience from start to finish. I do not recommend this place. You'll grow to like an item and it will not be the same the next time around. The pandemic taught them nothing about scarcity and appreciating customers. It's a hard pass, well unless you want a sub par experience and less than satisfying meal. The manager is extremely inexperienced in customer experience. If she's not right, good luck not having your head chewed off. She's as tacky as they come.

Food was good but our server was really good. Great even! He didn't miss a beat with our large table and his other tables. He was carrying a large tray with fajitas, all the steam, and sizzle destined for another table, while he delivered to-go boxes at ours he then very calmly asked if there was anything else he could get for us, and thanked us. And still quickly delivered those sizzling fajitas.Very natural, very efficient, attentive service. Good food, I'd eat there again.

We love Mama Cuca’s. Its our go to place in Mansfield! Love the chips, salsa everything! Fajitas are great. We go here at least once a week.

We’ve been eating here for five years, and have always loved what we had! Everything is delicious, and when they sub grilled veggies, they give you real, big, crisp, grilled veggies! The flan is traditional and excellent. The queso is the best in Mansfield. The salsas are hot but not too hot. The margaritas are always perfect, and the service is fantastic as well! We love bringing friends and family here, and our kids even eat here!

I have to brag on Mansfield..this year we bought our Christmas dinner from Mama Cucas Mexican Restaurant..the service was great .. we got treated like royalty. Our order was small but that didn’t seem to matter .. we got an opportunity to test all of the different sauces..upon pick up the order was on time warm and cooked to perfection..Thank you mama cucas for making our Christmas dinner and amazing one ..

With the pandemic, we have relied solely on take-out whenever we "eat out". However, few Mexican dishes actually travel well. Nachos, tacos, & fajitas do not, luckily I can make each of those fairly well at home when we have the craving. We have found a few things that handle the trip home without their quality suffering, and those happen to be some of what Mama Cuca's does better than anyone. Their chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce are my absolute favorite, even if I have to zap them briefly in the microwave sometimes. I don't know if they make them in-house, but their soft corn tortillas are the best I've eaten anywhere. Not too thick or pasty, not so thin that they have holes, they are just right. They don't have any lime (or whatever vile substance some places add to the dough) to make them have a slightly soured taste & smell. Somehow, these tortillas make it all the way home and are still too hot to handle when unwrapping the foil. Guac or Queso with chips round out the Tex-Mex experience. TIP: ask for some taco meat to be added to the queso- it takes it to another level!

Salsa just ok. Chips good but not warm. I ordered a Chimachanga. It was described as being fried with queso. It was not fried. You can tell. It was more like a smothered burrito. It was ok but would have been better fried crispy as described. It is better not to describe incorrectly because you run the risk of disappointing the customer. This customer was disappointed. The queso was good but not spicy. The guacamole was pretty good but no onions or tomatoes in it.
