Online ordering was efficient and arrived to hot and fresh burgers. The burgers were 5* , the size, variety, made to order and price is great, but the person who chose, cooked and sold those scraps of French fries and the $3/ nuggets of chicken earned the 3*. Not only was the chicken over priced it was over cooked. Only one of the three chicken tenders/nuggets extended above the rim of the cup, which is the same size cup the ff bits were served. After all it’s Jakes Burgers and Beer and not Jakes Chicken and Fries. Next week time I will pay Wendy’s a visit for the FF and chicken fix but get my burgers from here.
Our waiter Hunter was incredible. He kept our drinks refilled and suggested to us an appetizer. We ended up getting the appetizer “fried pickles” that he recommended. They were delicious. Our food came out hot and fresh. Overall we had a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this location and if you go ask for Hunter! ☺️
Quite a variety of burgers to choose from. Good fries and onion rings too. Thick strawberry milkshake was the perfect complement for my burger. Only suggestion I would have it to be careful where you sit...the booth we had was the one booth in the whole place that got blinded by the evening sun ?
Really like the bottle cap burger! Servers are friendly and laid back and I usually don’t have to ask for refills.. which matters with a burger and fries or onion rings! Every now and then my husband gets fries when he ordered onion rings but the food is always good.
Cool building. Great location. Cold beer. It was across the street from our hotel so we crossed the street when we saw "HAPPY HOUR" on the windows. We set at a high top in the corner of bar near one of the big windows with a great view of the street in downtown town. The January afternoon sun came in at just the right angle. Wasn’t a dim, dark hangout at all. Bright and vibrant. Ordered draft beers and cheesy tator tots. Sorry, We were really hungry so we didn't snap a pic. Bartender was friendly and quick. Came by several times to check on us. We never felt neglected. Saw a breakfast menu. Looks interesting with a good assortment of the usuals in a texas town. I don't know if I'll make it back to try it but I would if I had another day in downtown Fort Worth.
They have cockroaches and rodents, Their kitchen must be nasty!! .Service for a burger is incredibly slow!! food is over priced!!
10 stars for Alexa at the Frisco location. Timely, very friendly and attentive to my food allergies. She made sure there wasn’t any pepper, tomatoes or dairy on my burger. We will be back, she deserves a raise for her professionalism and kindness.
I love Jake’s! They can’t go wrong. We placed a to-go order with Vandy on the phone, and he provided great service and double-checked our order before ending the call, and I appreciate that. Nothing is worse than ordering to-go and realizing they got it wrong when you go home. We went for something new, so we tried the December’s 48 Special Burger, and the Kickin’ Chicken Fried Bacon Burger. Both are really good! They both were large and full of flavor. You can’t go wrong with their monthly specials. They always hit the spot. ?
Great food, tasty drinks, great atmosphere, awesome waitress/server. We have no complaints except we didn't know that fries weren't served with our burgers which made our tab pretty high since we ordered drinks too. Would be awesome if they did include them because they sure are tasty.
I arrived at 845 and saw the chairs up and asked if they were closed. The host didn't acknowledge me and another worker gave me a deer in headlights look. A waiter came over and seated us and said they close at 9. I asked if he was sure he wanted us to stay and he said yes. I asked again if he was sure because I didn't want my food to be spit on. We only received 3 chicken tenders for $9. They weren't cooked very well either. Very disappointed in tonight's visit.
