We really enjoyed eating here overall. It was really hot inside due to the ovens as well as the Texas heat wave. The other drawback was the flies. The food was fantastic though and we really enjoyed the craft sodas in the fountain machine. All of the staff here were incredibly friendly. They even answered our dairy free questions with ease. If you are a brisket fan…. I recommend choosing the sliced brisket over the chopped as it was much juicier and not as dried out. The bathrooms are accessible but potentially difficult to navigate if you had a wheelchair and the restaurant was crowded. We will definitely go back in the future maybe on a cooler day in the fall.
Had a great time at this place. My son took us here. You know you're in for good BBQ when you can smell it from the street. However, since I was going to cook a brisket the next day I decided to have a burger. This is in an interesting place in that, there are 3 restaurants in this food complex. You can have BBQ, Burgers and Mexican. The BBQ place has a very impressive smoker. This is a fun place with lots of outdoor seating and outdoor games to play. You can order food from any of the the three restaurants and kind of just roam around. The burger I had was made from elk meat. Tastey. I liked the burger place because they had several pickle barrels with different types of pickles. The bread and butter are my favorite. This is a quirky place that's a lot of fun to visit. I recomend Del Toro!
Wow, wow, wow the best BBQ around! All the meat taste amazing and the sides are the bomb. Great friendly service and they kept by the horn brewing beer. Definitely will be back, we were very pleased with everything.
This was THE BEST Barbecue, besides my own ?, that I have had in a LONG time! I tried the their #1 lager, because I like Shiner… but this beat the pants off of Shiner Bock, hands down. Wife tried a frozen drink with grapefruit in it, can’t remember what he called it, but it was awesome and had great results from just ONE drink ?! We both shared the three meat plate with pork ribs, brisket and turkey with the corn and cabbage sides. First time in FOREVER that my wife and I had food that WE BOTH agreed was THE BEST we have had in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME! The barbecue sauce was also sweet, spicy and delicious, pairing well with every cut we had! Del Toro… you have WELL EARNED our repeat business!
Amazing BBQ! You will love the food here. I had the brisket sandwich with a side of street corn and it was delicious. I also had an order of brisket nachos and they were also delicious. Cool atmosphere and great outdoor seating area available.
The six dollar brisket Tostado is awesome and the best value on the menuBBQ Including sausage - ribs - brisket & turkey are all excellent!I also love their barbecue sauce it’s got a little bite.SidesPotato salad too much mayonnaise for my liking.Mac & cheese OK…Beans Good.
Probably deserve 3 stars, 2 stars for the excellent atmosphere and the great music and the great music and one star for the food. I ate the sweet pig sandwich which had A huge bun, a large portion of coleslaw, pickles and 2 to 3 oz of pulled pork. At almost$15 for sandwich and drink, the meat portion was tiny. The sides on the bar looked fresh and tasty including a cabbage dish I was really hoping to try but didn't want to fill myself up at lunch. I'm gonna give them another try before I decide before I decide on the 3 or 4 stars.
If you are looking for a great place to eat This was the best BBQ I have ever had. Love the menu and the bork belly burnt ends melt in your mouth, I would suggest you get over there and try it, becUse I loved it and plan to go back for more.
The place is really good. The brisket had good flavor but mine was a little cool. It did have to sit in the window a while because I was in line at the bar getting drinks when my pager to pick up food went off. But, really good sausage and the Texas Twinkies are amazing. Great atmosphere, just wish they had a few more inside tables available. Will definitely be back!
Great BBQ place in historic downtown Mansfield. They use quality ingredients in their food and drinks. My Turkey was perfectly cooked. The slaw is crisp and tasty. I loved my frozen drink. The restaurant is xo owned with the hamburger and taco place and share a beautiful outdoor area. The food is great and there is a nice level of class. Highly recommend!
