When we got home we did not have the mashed potatoes and gravy so we called and spoke to the manager I believe the name was Keith he asked if we were coming back to get it and we said no so he said multiple times as though we were not being truthful that we must have the receipt in order to come and get the mashed potatoes and gravy then said he would only honor it for 5 days! So the staff screwed up our order and now we only have 5 days to swing by and pick up what we have already paid for! This was horrible customer service and this manager needs some serious training with how to handle customer complaints not even once did he apologize for their error and really did not offer anything in return!
Ordered 2 4pc Chicken tender combos, a cherry pie and reg order of okra. $26. xx. Are you serious???? $26 for single combo meals? The chicken was dry, the okra was cooked in old grease, the coke was handed to me in my car dripping coke from side of cup (rude) and coke was flat. I took one meal to a patient in the hospital right down the street...she ate the hospital food. Told me to take her tender meal home to the dogs....dogs wouldn't even eat it.
The price of tea went from $1.00 to $1.72??? The explanation I received was because they’re under “new management.” No problem at all…I will go to the one one in GP and continue paying $1.00. Thanks but no thanks.
I have been calling this store since it opened. Nobody will answer the phone. I went to the website to order online and that isn't working. They really need some management support there. Chicken Express food is amazing. Sad the customer support here is so bad. I've called 13 times over several hour period.

Drive-thru order placed to deliver 20 minutes away to someone who was ill. After delivering the food, was advised It was not what was ordered and paid for, it was an incorrect order. Had to drive to another location and re-purchase food. When I Returned the incorrect food to the Mansfield No offer was made toCorrect the order. When I then requested a refund-I was advised they do not give receipts showing the purchase was refunded. Total inconvenience when it could have been avoided. At least apologize to the customer for your error. Very poor customer service-at the very least, you could have apologized and offered to make the order right.
It was the worst. My husband and I went there last night and it took us forever to get our food. We sit there 5 minutes and the boy came to the window and asked what was our order???? Really, then we thinking maybe they were cooking more tenders are chicken is why it was taken so long, but nope we got home and the chicken tasted old and the gravy was lumpy and disgusting. We will never ever go back there again. Lisa chicken is the best. My husband did spoke with the manager this morning and she was very nice. Her name was Gabby and she was not the manager working last night. The food was just awful, what a waste of 24 dollars.
Went to get dinner, and while I understand it was 9:30 they were out of everything. We could see them play fighting through the window, not helping anybody. Didn't receive our full or correct order.
My family and I usually go to the Chicken Express down on Cooper, but today we went to the one on Broad Street for the sole reason that it was closer. What a shame that it was a fatal mistake.The moment we open our 40-piece meal (which costed about $54 with tax), the boxes fell apart. The coleslaw was expired and we got a bag filled with a bunch of crushed rolls (which I still do not understand the purpose of). The chicken was dry, and it didn't taste fresh compared to the chicken I ate at the Chicken Express on Cooper.The only positives were that they gave us more than 40 chicken tenders and the sweet ice tea was fine. However, they forgot to give us extra gravy (because we got two mashed potatoes for our side dishes). We usually get two small gravy cases and two big ones, but here, we only got two small ones.I cannot speak for the other meals at the place, but the 40-piece family meal was terrible. I'm already boiling water to make my ramen because the chicken is too dry to even stomach.Hopefully, this reaches someone before they too waste $54 on this.
I typically don't like these fast food joints because of service, but I was in a pinch on 10/13. I expected to hear a rude/ dry reception at the drive thru speaker but the young lady was VERY polite and helpful, and then the young man at the pickup window was equally polite and even playful (respectfully). And my order was correct... Wow!
