Nice clean place in the country. Carnitas we’re ok. Green and red sauces available. Had cilantro and onion plate with limes. Wife had Scherzer quesadilla it was ok.My disappointment was that there is no chicken choices on the menu if you want to eat healthy. Also no chips and salsa which is unheard of to me. That’s how I judge a Mex. Food place many times is the chips and salsa.I liked the carnitas but would suggest chicken choices and chips and salsa. The horchata is good ?
The food was hot and fresh, great service and good selection of pan dulce.
Mansfield has a gem nicely hidden filled with fantastic tacos! They have a varied menu appealing to a wide variety of tastebuds. We ordered the flautas filled with chicken and potatoes served with rice and beans and the QuesaBirria tacos served with a side of consome for dipping. DELICIOUS! I've posted ths menu.
The hand made tortilla made the difference on this tacos, costilla de mole , cabeza de res, buche is the best, the salsas. Hands down this are really good tacos. ? great customer service ??
Loved every bite. Salsas were excellent...service was prompt and ordering made easy. Food is fresh and delicious.
Very Good Mexican style food, What's is incredible is the speed of their service. Far from the usual chips and salsa Tex-Mex restaurant. Fresh barbacoa and chicharron is a must try
Great good! Love my birria tacos. We went on a Sunday and they had a live little group the music was good.Only thing is that it’s too small for a lot of people and it’s over crowded. But is worth the wait.
Ate here for lunch for cinco de Mayo. I ordered the taco plate with beans and rice. It was incredible!! I tried the steak, pork and Barbacoa. Huge fan of the steak! The restaurant is beautiful and clean and accessible to all. It’s out in the country with nothing else really nearby so that was a bit of an adventure. Worth the drive 100%! The ordering process is up at a counter and the staff was so friendly and patient while I figured out the menu.
Best tacos of many choices, menudo, gorditas and horchata in the area.We have parties we get our food from them and everyone loves it. Very good size portions and reasonable prices. We have been going to them since they were across the street in a tent and the flavor has only gotten better and the service is friendly and welcoming . We will always go there and hopefully we always will. We love everything they serve. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants good homemade food.
My wife and I had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Chili Relleno plate which had a Rajas/Queso stuffing and Ranchero sauce, rice, beans and FRESHLY MADE Corn tortillas! My wife got the 3 taco platter and chose 2 Carnitas and 1 Pastor taco to go with the rice and refried beans. The al Pastor taco was outstanding with perfect balance of sweet/spicy and the Cilantro and onions added a bright flavor and crunch to the tacos. El Guerro's rice is moist, perfectly seasoned and worth a visit on its own. We had a big glass of the best Horchata we've ever had. All this was $20, with tax!
