Went before movie to have a nice dinner. Place was empty compared to other restaurants so we expected good service. I understand staff shortages these days but when the staff outnumbers the customers you expect quality service. Seeing staff hanging out with regulars at the bar and being ignored by waitresses I've figured out why this place was empty on a Friday night unlike the other restaurants in the area. Food was okay but not worth the hassle and lack of attention.
Good tasting food, but not enough attention in the kitchen. Order to go and found my burger had portions of the wrapper left on in cooking. If I have to check my food for paper now, I'll just eat elsewhere.
My salad was good. But my wife's riblet plate was not that good. Chips were stale on appetizer. Way over-priced for the lack of quality. Had to ask twice to get fresh chips.
The wait staff is stellar, but the food was not. I don't think I'll go back unless the quality improves.My daughter ordered pizza and it was clearly not made on sight, the crust was a standard insanely thick bread that you'd find if you ordered from Sysco.I ordered Mac n cheese with this strange, very sweet chicken on top, it was not a great combination (though, if served separately, would have been better). I probably would have gone with a more savory glaze for the chicken, to complement rather than compete with the (really, quite good cheese sauce).We did not send our food back or cause any scenes, we simply wanted to try something new and sometimes it falls short, however at $30 for the two of us, I would expect a little more quality.
Well, I've had better. This location did not have enough servers and we had to set in the bar. The place was not very busy for a Friday night and the bartender was waiting on us. I had to walk my drink up to the bar to get a refill, we basically waiting on ourselves. The food was ok but not for $41 and no service. I'll give it a 3 star because I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they did not have enough servers.So folks on your next Drive Across Texas and you find yourself in the area of HWY 287 and Debbie lane in Mansfield Texas. Horrible experience. Worst ever at an Applebees. It had a lot to do with the server “Red not serving us after we got re- seated by him, he simply never came back. The other server figured out 20 min later. I also watched him ignore another table while dining and it was clear some basically quit on the job and it really sucked for paying customer’s.
Walked in around 10:20 PM, 7 people total after playing a hockey game down the street. We were there about 20-25 mins before finally walking out.It took about 5-8 mins before drink orders were taken, and we only ever got 3 of those drinks.There was 3 servers working that I could see, with only about 5 tables worth of people in the bar area including us, so them being busy couldn't be much of an excuse. They also refused to change a tv off of Spongebob to the USA Women's Olympic game.The final straw was when they brought out my wife's "Arnold Palmer" and it looked like neon yellow liquid at the bottom third of the glass with all lemonade on top. Definitely not tea.If you don't want to serve people, at least say so. But when you stand around and just stare at us basically waiting for us to get fed up and leave, it sends a pretty bad sign.

Man, what happened to this place? Didn't have the beer in stock that their menu advertised. Cheeseburger had plastic wrap left on the cheese. The manager took care of that for us but the way she talked it sounds like it happens often. The manager said, "at least she ate it. Many people don't." Didn't have desert in stock as advertised on the menu. Server was nice but everything took forever. They didn't have many servers at a time when other restaurants have gone back to full staff. This will be our last time here.
First time I went to this establishment. I was served Jack Daniels that was heavily watered down. After some time, I decided to give them a second try.Second time went in was seated made orders,. Wife received her order. 20 minutes later my wife asked me about my order. Had to go find the waitress to inquire as to my order. In which she replied you have not got your order yet. I guess someone else was supposed to bring the order out. I stated I might as well get the order to go now. Defeats the purpose of going to dine out. Will never visit this establishment again.
