Two stars because the food was not bad.Once we ordered our food we never saw the waiter until we were finished eating. No followup what so ever. We really wanted another beer, I guess one is the limit. 20 minutes with an empty glass.The waiter told me service would be better next time.Lol!Anyway, I left fuming. Pretty sad.
Amazing food, amazing service, truly it is. They have karaoke every Friday night and have splendid margaritas. However it would be awesome if they also had the drink menu that the one on Sawdust has, and I believe their third location on 2920 Spring will have that drink menu as soon as they get their liquid license. Julios on magnolia has a great bar and enough space for big parties.
Not only is there food outstanding but there customer service is top notch. We placed a to go order, picked it up and realized our queso was not in there when we got home. We called them and they immediately offered to bring it to our house 20 minutes away without any hesitation. We have eaten at Julio’s many times and the service has always been great. We will continue our family outings at Julio’s. Thank you to the awesome staff.
Julio's is hands down my favorite restaurant.They have the best queso and salsa however, if its a margarita that you're after look no more.The margaritas hit right.They beef fajita is delicious.I have to say that the Vera Cruz is my favorite dish.GREAT JOB JULIO!!!
Excellent staff. Been twice, once for dine-in and once for takeout. Highly recommend this place.Dine-in...Nice place, very friendly staff, very good food.Favorite dish: street tacos, try the cochinita pibil, you won't be disappointed.Takeout...I came back to order meat by the pound for a party. Talked with one of the managers, who was extremely helpful. We talked through some logistics and helped me better prep for the party. They gave me a very good price for the meat, given the skyrocketing prices.The day of pickup, the food was packaged extremely well and the young lady who closed out the check was friendly and helpful.
We are regulars here and nearly the whole staff knows us like family. Everyone is great! The margaritas are amazing, the jalapeno ranch sauce is my favorite as well as the pechuga gravy.
Went in during lunch hours (not busy at all). Between the melted cheddar cheese on the bottom along with the taco meat, my tostada was too greasy to enjoy. And although my server checked on others seated around me, he never came back by to check on how my food came out or asking if I needed anything.The chips and salsa guy came to ask if I was done with my plate and took it... Leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) and then wondering how long it was going to take to get my check. I ended up going up front to pay.

Had the fajita burrito. Was great. Ordered sopapillas with honey. They were great. Honey was watered down. Couldn't believe a quality place like this would take pride in serving up colored sugar water as honey!
Excellent restaurant. Lots of menu options. I ordered a combination meal which was fresh and very tasty. The portions are on the larger side. The drink selection is extensive. I would suggest asking about the margaritas as they have a million different kinds. The atmosphere is as if this were a family operated restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive and stopped to check on us often. The kitchen was having a slight delay tonight but it wasn’t a big problem for us as we were already served appetizers.Overall, yes I’ll be back.
