We came from the Fort Worth area after I had seen an article about this unique little restaurant. We stopped on the way to the coast and were not disappointed. The service of the staff was incredible. We sat on the outdoor porch and watched the tortoise and turtles which my children loved. One of the views inside is to a creepy skeleton set up. Don’t be surprised if something jumps up against the window while you eat. Lol. (Scared me even though I knew it was coming) Several of us had the cheeseburgers and they were delicious. Everything we saw looked good though. I was interested to find out you can rent the private area for around $50 which would be so nice if we lived in town.
Had the Cinderella salad with grilled chicken. VERY good!!
Just this week we tried out the Family Tree in Magnolia. At first I was skeptical of the location but boy was that a mistake. My wife and I tried them for lunch and had the most amazing burgers. They had a number of items on the menu, but burgers fit the bill. The service was great and the staff very friendly. When the food arrived after a short wait, wow, was it good. Quite possibly the best burger I've had (I had the Chili Cheeseburger and my wife had the mini-Magnolia burger). We will definitely be returning.
This place is amazing, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is excellent. I highly recommend you stop by for a wonderful meal and experience. This restaurant is unlike any other in the area. The owners are very friendly.
The food was good and the building/location is cute. I just hated that they were not wearing masks or gloves. Honestly, I should have just turned around and found someplace else to go. Our server was very friendly also. I am sure it would have been a great experience during normal times.
Whenever I want to take someone to a fun, different kind of place, I bring them here! The owners are really nice folks, good cooking and very interesting space. If you like homemade, and an artsy vibe, you’ll enjoy this super casual surprising cafe! Try the special of the day, they’re always good and include a non-alcoholic beverage, entree, side and dessert. Burgers and salads are good too. Just don’t expect real silverware, they use all disposable serving ware, I said very casual;)!
Awesome food friendly staff. Even when crazy busy they make sure to set correct expections on food, and it was well worth the wait. Quality of food is enough to make me come back for quite a few years now. I don't live in the area and it makes me sad because I haven't found a burger that compares to the Treehouse's magnolia burger.
This is a great restaurant with great food. The feeling of being in a real tree house which it is..the personal are very friendly and always checking to see if you need anything. You have to go between 8 am to 2. PM though.

Their Black and Blue Burger is to Die For! All food is handmade daily! The Treehouse Cafe is such a unique atmosphere and a shopping opportunity as well. Awesome and Friendly Staff I will definitely add this to my favorites.
