I had the street tacos. it comes with like six mini tacos with corn tortillas, but it was delicious!!! I couldn't even finish it. But what really caught my attention was the nacho sauce. That's awesome special it has just the right amount of spice, a lot of flavor kind of a tanginess, it was just perfect. My friend had me to ask some to take home. I would definitely be back!
I was not impressed! Margarita was not good at all. Food was not much better. Perhaps the 10 kids working there who were hanging out, chit chatting at the host/hostess stand / computer kiosk, most of the time, oh and cursing, could have found something more productive to do like picking up the smashed chips around the chip area on the floor and the surrounding table top… Or anything else than standing there like they were in a high school hallway. Miraculously the older waiter and helper, who was part of the chi chat crew, did very well at taking care of us at the table.
We have eat here 3 times in the last 3 weeks. The food was good except each time the food was almost cold. Today, AGAIN, the food was barely warm & our order was wrong. When the waiter brought it to the table we told him that it was not correct & he never offered to get it fixed. All he said was, I'm sorry! The fajita meat in our tacos al carbon was COLD! Not sure if we will go back.
I've been on 2 occasions. The first one was really good. The second not so much. The chips where stale, the qeso tasted out of a can, the shredded chicken tasted how puppy food smelled, the tamales were mushy and grainy. The beans were watery, the rice was under cooked. My moms chimi was saggy her beans were also watery and rice undercooked. Our waitress was behind the bar talking to two guys making us wait 15 minutes instead of letting the 3 bar tenders serve them. Will not be returning.
The service was absolutely horrible! The waiter was rude, split drinks many times, didn't deliver items ordered. Yanked menus off the table almost hitting my daughter in the face with it. Once a complaint was made and received a new waiter, we were completely ignored. Will never go again. Such a bad experience for our first time going. Deserves 0 stars
05/04/2021: Came in for lunch and left without eating lunch. When I was seated, the lady came immediately and gave us chips and took our drink order. (For 2 people) After realizing it’s been 20 minutes and the place is pretty empty, our order was not taken. The lady thats brings drinks the chips and drinks is not the waitress. So I turned to one and asked “ma’am, excuse me ma’am(being completely ignored) is there any one to take my order?”(doesn’t even acknowledge me, walks away and looks for Jose…) so I got up, went to front to pay for drinks. Another man said it was okay, not to worry about it. Then the hostess was confused when she pulled up a bill stating I ordered something. I told them I was there for 20 minutes and never ordered anything, then Jose comes around the corner and I pointed at him and told him “you’re lazy!” Horrible, horrible service! Made sure he knew it! He’s lucky I left because I would of left Zero for a tip!!
Best crawfish around, great flavor. Good Mexican food. Everything tends to have just a bit more spice than some of the other places around (in a good way). Service can be a bit inconsistent.
Went there on Friday the 18th, as a family dinner since the girls wanted crawfish we order a Raspberry Margarita to start and they sent a plain one, to fix the issue they brought a shot glass with Raspberry mix for us to mix it our selfs and the services girl only said I'm sorry didn't offer to discount part of the drink for their errors we order a second one and came back correct. I order a shrimp cocktail for myself, which I didn't even want to eat it because it was the worst Mexican Shrimp Cocktail I have ever had, which I know how to make a much better one at home for the same price as they charge for the one there, something so basic should have great taste. I had to ask for ketchup and Valentina sauce to fix some of the taste. when I ask for the check we was the only party left around us so I told the girl hey this shrimp cocktail was not the best or even close to a shrimp cocktail she then said sorry, brought the check and it was still on the paperwork, I then mark a line next to the item and wrote on the recipe, worst shrimp cocktail I ever had expecting for them to fix the issue them selfs and removed it. Now it comer to this review they had 2 full weeks to fix it and removed the charges from my credit card for the issue items only not even ask for the whole bill to be comp for their errors and nothing was done, for a restaurant that website advertising "The Best Mexican Food and Margaritas in-town" should of taken more responsibility for the food and drink quality instead of just focusing on the money side, I may had not been dress the role since it was a relaxing dinner date and with the kids, but the server girl notices the business credit card I paid with because she was shocked that some hispanic wearing sweats and hoody was paying with a card like the one I paid with, I was even nice and left a basic tip for them to share. Stand behind your product, that way you don't have to deal with reviews like this. I personally don't like leaving reviews, but as a business owner myself I know the value of them quality over quantity, as you see the crawfish was good quality because my girls love them but two errors that should of been corrected in silent made your quality of the over all dinner low quality and I had no issues paying for Good Quality.
We sat on the patio. Music through the speakers was fairly loud, making it difficult to converse. The manager was kind enough to take our drink order and to follow up after our meal. The chicken enchiladas were bland with no discernable spice in the filling. I had a chicken Diablo taco with no flavor except for bacon. The food came lukewarm. Hey, the beer was tasty!
Disappointed in the food and overall experience. Wait time for food after ordering was unacceptable. Small portions. Food was sub par. Never received a refill on my coke. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.
