Cost of meat is going up so if you can only splurge one place, this is it...the most tender brisket, beautifully tasty burnt ends, ribs to just suck off the bone, fresh crunchy coleslaw. It was heaven in a bag. First time but definitely not last. We are brisket snobs and we have finally found a piece of brisket worth buying. Mmmmmmm....soooo good.....

The brisket was amazing. Best I’ve ever had! Jalapeño sausage and turkey were on point as well. The guy in front of me got the last of the burnt ends so order before 2pm or they’re gone. Very friendly service. Will definitely be back for more!
There is a reason they run out brisket by 6 pm or earlier. It’s delicious. Also nice that it’s right next to a bar.
Amazing food at The Godfather’s. Maybe even the best brisket in Texas.
I ordered two chopped sandwiches a side of pintos and two teas. The prices are too high for a food truck where you sit outside with the wind blowing everything around. Meat and pintos were not served hot and the sauce on the sandwich was cold like it came out of a refrigerator. The hoagie rolls were very hard which made the sandwiches hard to eat without knife and fork. If this is normal service, I don't understand the five star ratings or the appeal of this location.
2 pulled pork sandwich’s and a side of potato salad for $30. No drinks are you kidding me total ripoff.
Driving back to H-town, we stopped at Deacon Baldy’s to check out the BBQ truck we heard about. Boy am I glad we did. It was amazing. We tried the brisket, burnt ends and turkey. It’s hard to believe the turkey could be better than the burnt ends but I believe it was. I can’t believe how moist they were. Also great was the Mac and Cheese and even the iced tea. I’ll be back. I’ve got my eyes on the ribs next. Well done BBQ Godfather.
Really excellent barbecue. A little more spicy than average but it's delicious.
