We’re in our retro RV heading thru Lufkin, and Wade’s BBQ catches our eye. We veer off our Google route and pop in at his awesome old camper/BBQ stand. Mother of god! This man is bbq blessed! Picked up the 3-meat plate (sausage, ribs and brisket). Fabulous stuff and enough grub to twice feed 2 adults and one always-hungry choc lab. Thanks, Wade! You made east Texas ROCK for us!

Wonderful, marvelous, delightful, and so very delicious. I have eaten BBQ. All over the state of Texas and im my opinion Wade's does not play second fiddle to any BBQ establishment. Great people doing a great job
The bbq is #1 in East, Tx. Best bbq I ever had and you get your money's worth. Sandwiches are full of tender, flavorful, great smoked meat. Keep up the great work Mr. Wade!
Most delicious, juicy brisket I’ve had!
Ok the short version; Wades barbeque is the best BBQ in Lufkin.I've had BBQ all over the state, Austin, Houston, college station, Beaumont, Lufkin, Dallas. I know what I expect out of good brisket and I know how to cook a good brisket. So does Wade. His brisket has rich beefy flavor with the only additions being salt, pepper, and smoke. He uses Prime beef and it shows in the quality product. Wades ribs are excellent I wish I could cook ribs as well has he does. The sausage is in a natural casing with an great flavor and snap. I read about Wade's in he recent Texas Monthly article and as I frequent Lufkin about once a month i wanted to try it. The article doesn't do it justice. Stringers lufkin bbq, bodacious bbq, Blacks BBQ, Terry Blacks, Salt lick, Boomtown, BigO BBQ none of them are as good as Wade's barbeque.
