I've made it an unspoken rule to not order seafood so far inland. I'm glad I broke it here. Not only was the food great but the oysters and shrimp were perfectly cooked! I was so impressed I returned for more oysters two days later. I will definitely be back!
Food was great! Our Server did an amazing job. The drinks were really good as well. This will be on my list of places to frequent as much as possible.
Really great service! Starting off we ordering chips with cheese dip. I ordered the Cajun girl po boy with a side of potato salad and avocado slices and my husband got beef po boy with fries. Total our date nate was about 50 dollars wait time for food was a little long but well worth it !!! We will be back!
Wow. We're new to the area & happened upon this gem today! Our waitress was phenomenal, the atmosphere was relaxing, & our food was beyond what we expected... Mexicajun is a great twist!The decor was awesome, especially being a Louisiana born Texan. ? We will be back, hopefully to listen to some live music next time.
Great waitress, great food, good time. Granddaughter's suggestion after a couple of her softball games. We had a good time spending some special time together. The waitress was more than helpful and patient. Meal was very filling and reasonably priced. Go and enjoy.
Michael H was the best server we have ever had! Super friendly and helpful, knew the menu like the back of his hand and makes the BEST drinks in the bar. Phenomenal service and will definitely be requesting him each time we eat here!

Ordered taco trio for lunch, had to eat on corn (flour isn’t gluten free). Comes with spicy sauce (too spicy for me) and charro beans. There were two corn tortillas per taco, I assume for ease of picking up. My server was efficient and friendly so he earned a 20% tip. I’ve had meals here I’ve enjoyed much more. I’m hoping they add gluten free bread to the menu so I can have a poor boy!
