We had an awesome time at Ralph & Kacoo's. Dinner was tasty and fresh. Waiter was great. My 8 year old son was delighted with the aquariums which is why we went there. Strongly recommend.
The food was excellent. Large portions an reasonable price. The rolls are the best. I had the fettuccine by the sea, friends had stuffed shrimp, burgers an crawfish etteauffe . All delicious

Haven't been there in a while. It's a 3 hr drive from my house, but in my opinion, well worth the trip. Updated menu is great and the food was prepared fairly well and tasted great. The choices cover a wide range, from all kinds of seafood, steaks, burgers, salads, spuds, and a miriad of sides. Something for every desire, including kids. Jose was our server. He is one of the best I've had. He knew the menu very well. I ordered the half dozen oyster appetizer,which he suggested he could combine 2 ( there's many to choose from)so I could have 3 of one and 3 of another. That's unheard of. The courses were delivered quickly, and timely, not rushed. They even have live entertainment in the evening. If you enjoy Louisiana cuisine, this is an excellent experience.
Passed through Lufkin and so glad we stopped in! The rolls were so delicious. The food was amazing. The service was great! Would definitely stop in again if we’re back in the area.
First time ever here and will definitely be going back. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with the big party but she managed, not very friendly but not rude, just had a lot on her mind possibly. The food was fresh it did not smell like seafood when you walked in and so that was a very good sign at a seafood restaurant to me that means everything is very fresh. The food was hot and all of our special requests were met with no problem and no extra charge and it was awesome great environment thank you again Ralph Kacoo's
This restaurant is from louisiana. That being said, the food is wonderful. We love the Cajun foods they serve. And believe it or not, they also serve a great Chicken Fried Steak!. Don't miss this restaurant when you visit East Texas.

We love it here. The kids enjoy the fish/turtle tanks. Cute gift shop. And the food is always amazing. We've never had bad service, the servers are always right on top of everything.We will continue to drive over an hour to eat there.
They had very good service, but the food was cheap and bland. The cheese dip was brought out cold. The crab dip had cheap ingredients. Nice rolls, but they should try a different butter. Loaded Wedges with little to no cheese or toppings. Steak salad with unseasoned steak. Fried seafood platter was unseasoned. Cheap shrimp served with PONTCHARTRAIN dish. Very underwhelming for a Cajun restaurant.
