I’ll never understand why a place that only sells chicken never has any chicken cooked. And is always out of their “signature” sides.
I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but the staff here at Lufkin Popeyes was so rude. The lady at the window kept yelling and even cursing at the people in the kitchen. Very unprofessional.The dining room was closed and had no signs posted, only the drive thru was running. And there’s a sign that says “speak up,” so I did, and she kept asking me to speak louder at the sign. I was practically yelling at them. Still got the order wrong, had no plastic ware. Had to wait 15 minutes for my food.A man from the kitchen came out in a plastic apron, covered in flour and stuff from the kitchen to bring my food out. Likely breaking many sanitary rules.Management needs to work out these issues. I won’t be returning.
I normally do not leave reviews but I HAVE to when it comes to this particular popeyes. First and foremost, whoever the lady is that worked the drive thru today was absolutely RUDE. She repeated my order to me correctly and still got it wrong, I went back and tried to explain what she did wrong and she closed the window in the middle of me speaking. It took the armor of GOD to hold me back from coming inside and going off, because not only did she repeat the order back to me, she claimed that someone else only charged me for certain items as if she was not the same person from 5minutes prior to me ordering. Every time I come to this particular popeyes, they are extremely rude and they get orders wrong. I work for Raceway and I do tend to have bigger orders because not all of our workers get lunch breaks. Unfortunately, this is not just a one time thing, it's HABITUAL!!!! If you have paying customers, I understand that fast food is not easy, BUT your attitude says a LOT about how you do your job, and in this case, I cannot help you dislike where you work, but if i am nice to you, you should be the same way towards me, and AT LEAST get my order correct and give FRESH food. Tighten up on your service! Ms. Kiona, Mr. Eddie, Lee and the Hispanic lady at front counter are the ONLY people who are nice all the time. The rest could most definitely use some training on bettering their services.
I have been to a lot of Popeye’s restaurants and this one is one of the best, clean, well managed one I’ve ever been to. The manager and his staff needs an ? AWARD @ the Lufkin, Tx location. I would definitely give them a 5 Star Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ……
Picked up a 10 piece meal today for my Family. Chicken was not very good. They got my sides wrong, and when i ask for some honey for my bisquits, they gave me 4 little packs of honey for 5 bisquits. Will not be going back!
3/20/22 4:30pm this business is currently locking customers inside and only unlocking door as they give your food they must not know that it is illegal to lock doors during business hours management needs to do something about it

Chicken sandwich fan! Yes I think it's better than chic. That crunch from freshly fried, not soggy like Chic makes all the difference
Please remind your driver though workers, when wearing disposable gloves, to change them between each customers. Not sanitary at all during the exchange of food handling and money transactions.
As usual the chicken was amazing! Ordered 4 meals and they forgot the BBQ dipping sauce on all of them but that is trivial. Love Popeyes. Wish our store sold the tender wraps!
