Great waitstaff and food fresh fried shrimp, gator bites and shrimp Arcadia was amazing! Nice relaxing setting as well def recommend!
went today for the first time we went during lunch everyone was so nice and friendly food was hot and delicious best cajun food we've had since moving up this way. idowish the booths had some cushion they hurt to sit in after a while.
We had a great time at Pelican Pointe. The food was delicious, the cook came and said hi, and we had an Amazing waitress named Alicia. She went out of her way to make sure that we had the best experience possible. The crab legs and shrimp were very good. The po boy was great and the fried seafood was really good too. We will definitely be back and if we're lucky maybe we will get Alicia as our server again.
Great service and Loved the food!! Red fish, flounder and pork medallions were delicious!! The shrimp appetizer with jelly is out-of-this-world good. One in our group isn't a shrimp fan and he had two! The beignets were small fluffy clouds perfect for sharing. But the bread pudding was magnificent!! We ordered it without the sauce and it was just right. True pudding consistency and perfect sweetness. My husband loves bread pudding and this beats any others he's had by miles.This is the new plumb line for a great meal in our area. We will be back!
I would have given 5 stars, but some of the crab legs were extremely watery, which made the crabmeat mushy. Stella, our server was incredibly attentive & thoughtful. Potatoes & corn were yummy. The sauce was different, but good. The boiled shrimp was seasoned & that was freaking amazing!!! No options to have clarified butter. 3 lbs of crawfish were ordered. That person was happy. The fries were thick & seasoned. Soooo good! Dr. Pepper was okay. And the water tasted really great! ? We will be back to try other menu items.
Love this place. For all things Cajun this is definitely the spot. The Atmosphere is beautiful. It has become my favorite Cajun Kitchen this side of Texas hands down .
I’m speechless, literally SPEECHLESS. This was some of the best food and best service we have had in a very long time. The fried pickles were ON POINT & the Shrimp Acadia was the best seafood pasta dish I have ever had. If you go, ask for Destiny. She was incredible! Plus my 3 year old.. who rarely finishes her meal gobbled up her grilled cheese even the crust ? as you can see lol!
Stuffed flounder was awesome along with very tasty appetizers. Our server was very prompt, courteous and attentive. I will definitely go back again. A refreshing change that Lufkin needs. Looking forward to trying as much of the menu as possible.
Had such a great time here today!! Alicia was an awesome waitress and wow, the food was terrific!! She patiently answered our questions and kept the tea glasses full, not to mention she totally hooked us up with a pile of crawfish!! Thanks for a great lunch! We will definitely be back!
