The company you go with will be the best thing about your visit. The waitstaff is nice, and it’s not their fault the food is overdone and the salad tastes like the freezer.
We scheduled a ladies lunch after a big conference here and although they were not taking reservations they went above and beyond to have everything ready for us. We were seated shortly after the majority of the large group arrived. Our server Harley did an incredible job making sure everyone was served with excellence. Check out was personal and made simple by Harley and she even took a group pic of us. Thank you so much for making our ladies lunch go so smooth!
Look, if you came to Lufkin to eat keep driving unless you’re going to stop here. Great service, clean, cozy. It serves the Olive Garden quality food you can rely on. You know what they have, you know what you want, and they won’t let you down. I got what I expected and I will be back again.
Most horrible experience at Olive Garden we have ever had.From the lazy and rude seating, with no child's menu & missing cutlery, where the host just dropped the menus on a table and walked away to the vanishing waiter it was extremely disappointing.Server was almost 10 minutes to come over greet us and ask our drinks order, where we had to ask for the kids menu. He then asked if we were ready to order... just after we asked for the kids menu!Received our drinks rather quickly, and the salad bowl, but didn't see him again for 10 minutes. We then placed food order, while we ate the salad. Again the waiter vanished.Bread sticks (no requested sauce) were dropped off just prior to our meals However once our food arrived the empty salad bowl, empty breadsticks and nearly empty drinks were all ignored. No refills on anything.We were all done eating the below par dinners well before he came by and ask how everything was. At least 20 min after he dropped the plates off. Our meals were all semi bland, semi warm and just looked like they was dropped on the plates without care or attention.Went to pay the bill and had to request the server to remove the $3.99 charge for the marinara which we never received.We were basically ignored the almost 2 hours we were in the restaurant, when the waiter would disappear all the time.Customers should be at least greeted quickly, and checked on often, at least within a few min of getting their meals.Guessing that the staff are poorly trained and there is just lackluster management but would not recommend the Lufkin Olive Garden to anyone... which shows as it was not busy at all on a weekend evening.
Our waitress wasn't very tentative. Our food came out timely and was hot. Our order was correct. Just not the greatest friendly customer service.
Got all you can eat soup and salad and that Italian sausage soup was the best soup I have ever eaten. Service was very good and their iced tea is very good too.
I had so much fun and ate so good. My daughter loved it too. The drinks were good and the food was exceptional. Our waitress was kind and very attentive.

Not really Veteran friendly. Completely missed the expiration for my Rainy Day Veterans day coupon. They told me to just come to a later date when I got it and didn't tell me there was an expiration. So came today and the bartender didn't honor it. Usually tip the amount of the free meal but instead, he graciously offered to throw away the coupon for me. Thanks bud. At least I got to avoid that hassle. Thanks anyways I guess. Left to go to a different restaurant.
My Husband, sister in law and I went to Olive Garden on 12/14/2021. Lucia was the sweetest, most awesome waitress we've ever come across. Very attentive, friendly and personable. We absolutely loved you. When we come back, we'll only want to be in your section. Food was delish too. Lucia took excellent care of us. 5 stars for her alone. Management should definitely look at her as a shining star.
