Nice little spot for a good meal. Next to the pilot truck stop, which is great for me as a trucker. Food was tasty, fresh and hot. Servers were friendly. I believe the owner himself was serving and cleaning tables as well!! Nice place for a good meal that won't break your pockets.
I ordered a country ham to go with my French toast and it was the size of my plate. It was great, but I had to take most of it home for later. I wish I would've taken a picture. They have really good coffee too!!! It's nothing for me to drink 5 or 6 cups. Enjoy going there when we're in town!

Good, quick breakfast. Coffee was good. Chicken fried steak was really tender. Friendly people and a clean environment. Great value for the money.
This is my new favorite place to eat.Update: 3/23/22 the biscuits and gravy with sausage gravy and hash browns cannot be beat. It's the best! Place is clean. Waitress is fantastic. I wish I could leave $100 tip. I asked the waitress to kiss the cook for me. My wifes east Texas chicken breast with bell peppers, onions and mushrooms was great! Even my sons kids meal cheeseburger with fries was great! We love and can't get enough of Lonestar Charlie's. Good prices too. This place shines like a diamond in a goats ask me what! 5 stars!!!!!
This place is so friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, the service is great and the prices are pretty cheap! I can't get enough of their biscuits!!! They are amazing!! This is our new go to spot for breakfast from now on!!!

First time visiting since Charlie's was close way back when the highway took over their land . Sure did miss em . Wow like i went back in time , it's still the best food around east texas . Can't wait till our next visit . Thanks .
