I looked through several options for a breakfast place this morning. I found this place on Google and saw the rave reviews for breakfast sandwiches. So I arrived with expectations that were dashed. There are three options on the menu. None are really breakfast but I selected the Morning Club when they asked me if I wanted an egg. I enthusiastically said yes and would like it over medium. She explained it comes as a frozen egg patty, so I declined. I sad down and received a brown paper bag with a soggy microwaved tuna, mayo, and onion, on a croissant. I took two bites, but I just can’t finish! Who microwaves mayo? It’s disgusting.
We came at noon, and they were open and very quick! Even blended my iced coffee for me. Also, not listed on their menu, but they do have dairy-free options: oatmilk, coconut, and almond (almond only in cold drinks). They also have cute mugs and T-shirts as swag.
Coco Loco is AMAZING! Java Jack's in Lufkin is consistently better than Nac, but Nac is pretty good, too.
This is a great local spot for coffee and treats. The inside is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. Support local!
Today is May 8th, and my family stopped by your coffee shop for a spicy pig and coffee. We always enjoy your food and products, but today things went a little differently. The larger gentlemen with shaggy hair, untrimmed beard with ear piercings taking orders through the drive thru was very unpleasant through the whole order. He was short, and rude the moment we drove up. I simply asked for extra sauce on my spicy pig as I usually do and he didn’t seem like he acknowledged my request. Upon completing the order I kindly verified he heard me. His response “I wrote it on the ticket” was clearly showing irritation. I even left that guy a tip, and wrote smile on the receipt to be nice. Which I regret. We decided to eat inside and when I opened my sandwich there was less sauce than usual without the request of extra lol!! So I kindly asked the sweet lady at the register for extra sauce, no big deal. The same gentlemen immediately popped off to me and told me “ I wrote it on the ticket for extra sauce it’s got extra sauce” I very sternly, told him there was not enough, and that he was being extremely rude now and through the drive thru and it wasn’t necessary. The other gentlemen in the hat, skinny with long hair was very kind, whipped it up for me and apologized. I have always enjoyed my experience with you guys, But that was just ridiculous. If that gentlemen hates his job that much, he might need to look for something that better suits him. I feel bad for anyone else that endured his attitude. Otherwise, coffee and food great as usual.
This place is becoming my favorite morning stop. They have amazing coffee and baked goods. The employees are always wonderful, even if theres a hiccup, they try their best to fix it.
Stopped in for the first time with my kids. Friendly staff. Upon recommendation I got the Creme Brulee iced coffee and its delicious. Two of my girls got ice cream shakes and my oldest got the vanilla iced chi and they love it. Definitely be coming back again.
Best of the best coffee ever! Absolutely adore this coffee shop. They are so nice, and the coffee is top notch. I havent had anything bad from here. Their breakfast sandwiches are HEAVENLY!
I LOVE this local shop ? I’m originally from Austin (so I can be a little picky with my coffee?). The workers here are SO knowledgeable and sweet! I was browsing the other reviews and I am BAFFLED at the number of people complaining!Pre-mixed latte! ??? Honored to say that my latte was indeed made fresh! (or maybe I just know how to order LOL!)Keep it up Java Jacks!
I love Java Jack's! So happy we have one in Lufkin now. They have the best iced creme Brule! :)
