Had a salad, but the croutons must have been picked up off of the floor....hard as rocks. I asked the waiter to help me with a problem,and he said, "Were those croutonsStale?"I said"Were you expecting them to be stale" and he answered "yeah they are sometimes".Wow....So I asked for more ...he brought them ..they were worse.What is it with Lufkin restaurants...other than Golden Corral (where you wait on yourself anyway), restaurant service sucks.If you're outta town, and stop here to eat...you were warned...My "worst" 3 in Lukin..1. LUFKIN BBQ2. RAYS DRIVE IN.3. CHICK FIL A ON WEST LOOP ( THE NEW ONE).
WILL NOT GO BACK UNTIL THEY GET A NEW BARTENDER!! I sat at the bar tonight, 6/1/22 from 6:30PM CT until 8:30. The bartender obviously knew the other 4 people sitting at the bar on a personal basis, while I got the cold shoulder, I was the 5th person, she did not know me on a personal basis like the other 4 persons sitting at the bar. If Chili's only wants their bartender's friends to be customers so be it. I will go elsewhere! And will go elsewhere until they get a new bartender, there is no lack of restaurants in Lufkin with friendly wait staff. Gave her a tip to match the poor service, I hope she got the message, but who cares!
We like their food a lot. The last time we went for curbside delivery we received message saying our order was ready. There were 2 cars already parkedWe waited and 2 more cars came up and their food was delivered before ours. The second car that was before us was finally given their food. We still waited. After about fifteen minutes and others being given orders and ours probably sitting and getting cold we drove off.. .Someone wasn't doing their job.
Went to eat with the family. My in laws steak was still bleeding and they took it back. The waitress dropped it on her way out! We understand completely and if you don't understand you were never a server!! You guys handled it well. I think the steak should have been taken off the ticket
The service and the food were all amazing. I frequent this place because of all the smiling faces and homey atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.
Wife and I ordered the 2 for $25 ( bacon burger and chicken crispers ) and the food was fantastic. Ordered the fried pickles as the app and they were crispy and great.
Great food! Affordable prices. Happy Hour every Sunday in the bar. Lunch specials on weekdays. Also the 3/ $10.99 specials are really awesome.Also, if you haven't already, you should sign up for the Chili's Rewards Program. Free chips and salsa everytime..... If you use your Rewards frequently, you'll get random rewards.... Plus on your birthday, you get a free dessert.
The food was terrible..the presentation was ..the ribs were awful.. the "steamed broccoli" was cold and crispy straight out of the refrigerator... the gravy for the chicken fried steak I ordered was lumpy cold and thick and even after adding water to it I swear it look like I spread icing on a cake, the French fries where cold. Crunchy Saturated in oil not to mention that the guy brought out our order and told us to hold tight we're waiting on the coleslaw.. so mins later he brought out less then half a bowl of slaw....smdh... I'm thinking, how about a refund??
My friends and I were recently in town, visiting from Austin. Pretty soon, Chilis became the primary subject of our dining preference.As we entered the establishment, we were greeted by a friendly staff and an exuberant server. There was a tasteful selection of incredible margaritas and the chips and salsa were simply divine. If you are in Lufkin, this location is exceptional.Long live Chilis!
10 bucks for 1 piece of chicken cut up for fajitas. I got 2 tortillas out of it.
