Worst $28 food ever. Macaroni was cold and powdery and there is no way i got the pound of brisket tht i ordered. Had to go to a fast food place so we could get enough food. Ridiculous. Everything else I tried to order they were out of.
Ordered 1lb of chopped brisket and it was short. When something is being sold by the pound, every oz matters. Especially with prices now days. Not to mention this is plus the weight of the container. My scale is calibrated and correct.
The bbq isn’t bad, but you absolutely have to check your order in the drive through. This is the 3rd time I have been shorted a meat on a two meat plate, and the sauces ordered weren’t in the bag. Again. It’s just extremely frustrating to pay for something, just to get all the way home and realize you didn’t receive it. Do better guys…
I come very frequently and every time I see Jordan he is always happy to be at work! He is super friendly, attentive and always keeps the bar clean!! He is 100% the reason I keep coming back! He is an amazing bartender!! Love that kid!
No matter what I order here, I'm always extremely pleased! The nachos and the Frito pie are my favorite things to order. The employees are super nice and helpful. Make sure you grab a coffee or adult beverage to go with your meal. ? If you haven't given True Texas BBQ a chance yet, what are you waiting for?
The Jalapeno Popper Turkey Sandwich is wonderful - love the variety of flavors! Please make it a permanent menu item.
Ordered (2) brisket plates. After a long wait in line with only 2 cars ahead of me, I arrived at the window and he had only (1) plate on the order. THEN it was $15 for (1)slice of brisket and (1) sausage link. Quantity and training need attention.
justin was my bartender and helped me with everything that I needed. he was super attentive to my boyfriend and I. he was also very polite. definitely coming back to see him again.
Just went thru drive thru.. pretty rude female employee. Felt she didn't really want to take my order. Sounded very annoyed she had to talk to me. And at the window was very short and only told me the price and what could pass as a thank you. The food was expensive, overpriced, and dry. I know my total I paid, but didn't receive a receipt to check how much the salads cost - only wanted to know cause those were barely salads.. a few lettece leaves and a bunch of carrots. No dressing. Overall, we will be skipping this place from now on.
Cafeteria style bbq, inconsistent quality, small portions, high price. The fryer stuff is decent but there are better local bbq places to give your dollars to.
