My husband and I read the reviews and thought we would try the farmhouse Restaurant for breakfast. Unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations. Our server heather was excellent friendly and attentive. The food however Did not meet our expectations. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy platter. It came out and was luke warm. The grits were watery and cold. They remade the plate and unfortunately it wasn't much better. The oatmeal was hot and very good.The manager seemed very dismissive and remove the cold order from our bill.One last thing you really shouldn't have workers on their phones at the counter. When we walk in he did not even acknowledge customers walking in.
While the pancake my husband ordered was good I was disappointed in the Eggs Benedict. After scraping almost a cup of sauce off I discovered the eggs were cooked almost hard. I ate what I could but this was honestly the worse eggs benedict I've been served. I can't imagine how it got out of the kitchen except that the staff here just don't care. The service was good but when I stated I wasn't use to eggs Benedict being served this way there seemed to be little concern about my complaints. This is why I don't usually say anything and I just stop visiting.
It was good, I would go again and try something else. Food could've been hotter as far as temperature goes, for me. Staff was friendly also.
The food was good, but don’t come here if you have a large party. We were visiting family in town and had a party of 13 people. We called ahead to give them a heads up that a large party was on the way, but they do not take reservations. When we arrived, we were told we would have a 30 minute wait, which was understandable for a large party and they would need 3 tables together to seat us. However, after 20-30 minutes of waiting we overheard the manager telling the hostess to stop holding tables for our group and seat the other waiting customers. Our kids started fussing that they were hungry. After 40 minutes, we asked the manager what the situation was, and she told us we had to wait for 2 tables to leave before we could be seated, and they hadn’t even received their food yet. That would be at least another 30 minute wait. We were very frustrated and told the manager to seat us separately as soon as possible. If we didn’t have hungry children with us, we would have left. The manager should have accommodated us who had been waiting the longest, and not give our tables away to those just walking in. OR she should have told us from the beginning that they could not accommodate our large party, not after having us wait for 30 minutes! We won’t be back again.
Pancakes are HUGE. Actually all portions are huge. Which isn’t a bad thing, but just be aware. Service was great. Very friendly. Try the breakfast croissant sandwich or the avacado toast. Prices reasonable for the amount of food you get. Extra parking in the back.
Food was delicious, on point, good service, very quick delivery on the table. The pancake was gigantic. You should go early because sometimes the place is packed. You can watch news while you enjoy the food. ???? Highly recommended!
Breakfast was delicious, I ordered the Biscuits and gravity Plate which comes along with 3 eggs your choice of meat and a side. I chose hashbrowns. I wanted a pancake, but I had no room for it. So I shall be returning. Restaurant was clean and quiet, our waitress was polite, fast and friendly
The food here is always amazing. Even when they are incredibly busy, their staff stays on it! Food comes out exactly right, delicious, and the service is great. Props to Carla for making my family feel welcomed.
My rating is based on how our server Keith was yelled at by Carla right by our table this morning around 10am March 5th,2022 while we where eating. Carla seemed frantic and mad about something and Keith simply asked her for change - she yelled at him saying "don't ask me that right now I'm busy and someone forgot to put the correct amount of food in the to go bag!" very rudely and loud enough for this momma to look up and see Keith's face in embarrassment and yet he didn't reply or make a scene. This mom does not approve of someone being yelled at- no matter how busy you are you we should always treat others with respect. Of course they where busy on a Saturday morning and probably short handed and people make mistakes as in forgetting food items BUT it didn't give her the right to yell at a young man by any means. I did tell Keith that he didn't deserve such treatment. I hope this is addressed and he gets an apology and that Carla takes some leadership classes and gets reprimanded! We are from out of town and just happened to come because of the huge pancakes which needed some type of flavoring inside them… dry and potatoes where not seasoned at all- but overall everything else was wonderful. We probably won’t visit again either just because of what happened to this young man.
I'm not too crazy about American food breakfast places...but in this case, I'm making an exception.The eggs Benedict were fantastic. FINALLY found a place that is consistent with it.Kudos to the "back row", back of the house!! Everything they put on a plate is of high quality.Servers are on point.5 Stars to management/ownership.Please give Steve my regards.
