Stars and Stripes Drive-In is literally the nicest, cleanest, and most well kept drive-in I've ever visited in my 46 years. The admission and concession prices are very reasonable! The concession stand has an eat-in seating area with 50's style decor. Very cool! My wife and I found this gem on our last day in Lubbock and so happy we got the chance to watch a movie on the big screen here! It's a stroll down memory lane! We can't wait to visit again!
Love it here! We come almost every week for a family outing. Great food and the ticket prices are awesome. We love the playground too and only downside is when cars around u constantly turn on the lights or flash the screen. Also, having bigger SUVS in the first 2 rows made it hard to see the last couple of times and we have to find another spot, but we always come back and will continue to do so! Thank you for alll you do!❤️??
My first time in a Drive In, and it was truly a wonderful experience! The old themed Cafe really makes it feel like you're stepping in a different era.
The snack bar is terrible. The service is slow and the lines are long. When we received our order with the wrong toppings on the burger, I commented about the slow service, the teenage girl behind the counter made a rude comments about how it had only been 12 minutes. News flash... your clock started after I spend 13 minutes in line! If you come here, do NOT use the snack bar. Bring your own food and avoid the snack bar because they are rude, slow and cant get an order right.
I posted the wrong review on the wrong business. I am so sorry. Our experience at Stars and Stripes was awesome. The place was clean including the bathrooms. I can't wait to go again.
Took my kiddos to get a taste of what we use to do growing up and they loved it. The playground was a hit before the movie and then we went to watch our movie. The bathrooms were clean and it was a great experience. They are looking forward to returning again soon.
Really fun throwback experience at a real drive-in theater! They welcomed us in our motor home (parked in the back row, of course). Fun '50s diner, with really good fries, and a playground for the kids. We love to visit!Update: One slight possible drawback is that if you're watching something on Screen 1, you can also see what's on Screen 3. You're kids might see some scenes you'd rather they didn't. For Screens 2 and 3, you can't see the others unless you turn around.
