We used Southern Elegance for our charity ball and could not have had a better experience! Shelley is professional, creative, adaptable, and easy to work with. The florals were so fresh and breathtaking, and every piece she provided was beautiful! We will definitely be using her services again!

Southern Elegance Design is a wonderful wedding planning service! I have used them for two daughter's weddings. Both weddings were all we could have wanted and more. From food, cake, flowers, decorations and planning, SED does it all! Shelley and team are wonderful! They can do as much or as little as you desire. They are also great to adjust to your budget. Shelley listens to your ideas, wants and concerns and brings them to life! Shelley also has the ability to pivot and make changes quickly, if needed. When asked, she brings suggestions and recommendations, which are very helpful. Communication with Shelley was easy in the time leading up to the wedding. SED also runs the rehearsal, which made it extra easy and allowed me to enjoy the evening. Shelley was present with us the entire day of the wedding. She laughed with us, which helped to calm nerves. She keeps everyone moving before the wedding and then keeps the reception moving with the dances, toasts, meal and exit. The best part .. at the end of the wedding, SED puts it all in your car for you. All you have to do is enjoy!! On top of all that, Shelley is simply friendly and a joy to be around. I am thankful for SED and highly recommend them!!

Oh my goodness I still cannot believe how amazing my son & daughter in laws wedding weekend was!! Shelley & team are the best!!! For the rehearsal dinner decor I told them I wanted a little taste of Texas & boho chic to welcome my daughter in laws New York family & friends & they made it happen far more beautifully than I could have imagined! My Texas family & friends loved it too!! The decor was fabulous & they are so wonderful to work with! I didn’t have to do a thing!!! The wedding was even more fabulous!! It was absolutely gorgeous from start to finish!! You just tell them what you want & they bring it to life!! They make your dream wedding weekend a reality!! Shelley & team have so much talent!! Food was so amazing & they took such good care of us all!! I HIGHLY recommend Southern Elegance!! Wish we could do it all over again!! They truly made our kids wedding weekend perfect!!!
My husband and I renewed our vows on our 5th wedding anniversary. We decided to do an actual wedding type ceremony and reception because we got married on a cruise the first time with not many family or friends in attendance. It did not take long to realize that I needed help because I am a procrastinator and have not ever thrown a large event like this. We only had a two to three meetings in person. Not going to lie, as the date got closer I started to get very stressed out because I had not seen many details. When I arrived, everything was beautiful -- better than I had imagined or ever could have created on my own. It was good to trust the professionals. Shelley and the team worked the evening, I did not have to do ANYTHING but enjoy, and they even cleaned everything up when we left. (This was the part my Mother loved the most, as we spent hours and hours cleaning up after my sister's wedding.) I hope to not ever need their services again, but I will recommend SED to anyone!

Where do I even begin?! Shelly and all of the amazing people at southern elegance design were the dream team! I had the wedding of my dreams all thanks to them! They made sure I enjoyed the day without any stress. Every little detail was perfect and I’m so grateful for all they did. Thank you for making our wedding day so magical!
Not a pleasant experience. They lost the components to our unity cross that my father made, which was a big part of our ceremony. They said that we had lost the parts when I was the one who put it in their van. The signs were poorly made and you could see previous designs from prior weddings. They also misspelled and mispronounced my wife’s maiden name for about 6 months during the planning period. They did not help us form a vision for our wedding at all. I expected a better service for the money we paid. I would advise against using this company.
I just want to thank Shelley and her crew at Grayce for helping us during this crazy time. Wedding was on, them off and then on again. She was so sweet and patient with our family during our crazy time. Their talent is amazing!!! They were sweet and understanding and performed a miracle on very short notice. Highly recommend this business!!!
