I’ve never been to this side of town until today. My friend invited me to brunch at savage and informed me the parking was terrible. I drove around and thought I found non-towing parking spot. There were 10 spots and only two towing signs. After eating, we went outside and our car was no where to be found. I apologize for taking the 1 of 25 spots that were all empty. At least the towing company is getting business today. I wish I had a zero star option.
Love this bar! Tons of character and the staff are friendly. The service has really improved recently and the drink specials are great. Some people mention issues with the food, but maybe don't have Ritz Carlton expectations when ordering food at a dive bar..? And honestly, their bar food isn't bad at all. Hope this joint sticks around.

I’ve been a regular at skooners for a very long time! I’ve never had a problem until I came back summer. They were my go to bar. 10/10 DO NOT recommend this bar.
We had a great time! The food was delicious and the drinks were cold. Want to thank Shannon ,Matthew and Red for a fun wonderful time. hands down the best bar in Lubbock.
Went in to have ONE beer and was very disappointed. Mug was hot. Beer was hot. Bartender was more concerned about being on her cell phone. Restroom had no handsoap and paper towels were wet from sitting on the sink. Hmm no customers and now I know why...
Drinks and food were amazing.
Bartenders not attentive and rude. Waited forever right in front of them and then got greeted years later. Wont be back for a good while
