Inexpensive cafe food, local, tasted good, and with super service. There were a zillion staff members working there staying on top of a very busy Saturday late morning rush. The wait staff kept my coffee and water topped off continually. Ceiling and equipment vents/filters looked like they could use a deep clean so I'd suggest that, but I'll give five stars for great service and prices and good food.
Billie, my waitress, approached and checked on me 5 out of the 10 times, a smiling waitress that was technically responsible for the table in front of me checked on me 2 times, another really friendly waitress struck up an entertaining conversation about me bringing my own bottle of Malt Vinegar to eat on my fish (I love the stuff on fish!) twice during my dining experience, and then another waitress working tables near the exit door thanked me for coming in! I don't know if Greg G., a cook, was responsible for my delicious and perfectly prepared meal, but I was 100% satisfied with my fish entree. Red Zone you really rocked it last night, and I wanted to let you know. It warms my soul to see all the veterans and local police officers consistently in the restaurant. Thank you again for being AMAZING, and I can't wait to see y'all again soon!
My family and I (from Lubbock, Amarillo, San Antonio, North Carolina, ,& Florida) went for our post-graduation lunch their and it was superb!! Our waitress was so awesome. She was VERY efficient, quick, & attentive! A++... I kid you not!! We never lacked anything we needed from our food to our drinks. We sat in a private dining area and treated like royalty. For me, being from San Antonio, it was one of the most wonderful memorable dining experience I've ever encountered. Kudos to you for such great & prompt service!???

A friend told me about this place and we totally loved it! Great food and super affordable. We order food for 3 people and only paid less than $40. Great flavor, food was hot, and super quick service. Honestly, it's way better than ihop by a lot. The only thing I didn't really like was the coffee; it was so water down, not good at all. (Im a coffee addict) and also our server was not patient at all, we kinda didn't know what to order since it was our first time there and she was just a little annoyed that we didn't know exactly what we wanted. But I like to rate/review the food, and the food was great!
Stopped my for a late lunch. They have a big variety of food. Prices are very reasonable. Everything we ordered was good. It was very busy but our waitress came quickly and took our order. We got our food pretty fast too. Service was good and fast. Definitely recommend!
Bought the chicken fried steak plate to go and recieved the hamburger steak plate. Also bought the taco plate and the rice... wow.. it was so hard and crunchy. Obviously sitting at the bottom of a cooking dish for hours. Seriously worst Mexican food I ever had. This place was good when I was a kid now its so inconsistent in the quality that I'm done with the place. Guess its hard to find people that care about doing a good job these days.
Friendly staff, quick service, and good food. Nothing gourmet, but good nevertheless. We had the Texas Nachos, Chicken Fried Steak, and a burger with bacon and cheese. The burger was perfectly done, crispy thick bacon, and a whole green Chile on top instead of chopped which was really nice. Could've done with less mustard but that's my only gripe and it's not much of one honestly. Chicken fried steak wasn't chewy or stringy, and the mashed potatoes were just chunky enough

This is always a great place to eat. The food never disappoints, and the service is fantastic!
