This was our first time to dine at Rave On. We made a reservation for a pre-show dinner. The location was perfect to be able to walk right into the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts.Karsyn was our server and she was great. We will actually request her next time.All of our food was well-prepared, fresh, and very good. Some of our faves were the Portobello Appetizer, Braised Short-Ribs, Kale Salad (entrée salad), and the Coconut Cake.As a bonus, you can purchase drinks (even wine;-) in to-go cups to take to your show if you are seeing one.
Very special.Went with my family after lunch and had an excellent time. Highly recommend the Buratta for a starter, very fresh. I had the Linguini and loved it. And my mom had the coconut curry soup and ate the whole bowl.Overall recommend this elegant spot for diners in Lubbock looking for something new.

We went for the dessert tacos and coffee. Very delicious! Menu looked amazing, will need to eat there again. Very nice staff and good ambiance.
Nice ambience. Food selections were great but a bit on the pricey side. Braised beef, seafood pasta and pork chop were spot on! Truffle mushrooms also delish! The only thing we didn't appreciate was we couldn't change the sides with another. Great place to go before watching a show at the Buddy Holly Theater.
First visit - great place with great atmosphere. Nice assortment on menu. Finally a place where my wife and I can go and carry on a conversation without loud music piercing the air. Be sure to share a piece of the coconut cake.
Had the smoked trout dip (plate w crackers) and the Burrata & Compari tomatoes w balsamic for appetizers. Both were very good, the trout dip tasted a bit bland though. For entrees, we had the Kurobuta pork chop and the Braised Short Rib & Papperdelle. Both were very delicious and tender, not too salty or sweet which was a huge plus. The short rib came with the papperdelle pasta that was very flavorful and a nice add to the dish. The au-gratin potatoes were the best side we could’ve chosen! Will be coming here again for sure. Service was excellent too!
We went their for dinner for the first time last night. Our waitress, Jaquenette, was so friendly and made wonderful meal suggestions. The food was excellent (portobello fries, salmon, pork chop, cheesecake tacos and a latte) and served quickly considering how busy they were. The atmosphere is nice and perfect for a date night before a show. Would 100% recommend this place and look forward to going back and trying more!
Good food, my pork was slightly undercooked, nothing serious but still asked to have it cooked a lil more they were very polite about it. They also offered free dessert just because it! ? restraunt is very nice
