Good food, unbeatable price for BBQ, and you just feel so welcome. I will for sure be back. $11 for a 2 meat plate. My friend and I ordered the ribs and brisket that came with beans and potato salad. Also, 2 waters and it was $24 bucks. ❤️
My dad found this place on his way home from work one day. BEST Bar-B-Q I've ever had! I would eat here every day if I could. Prices are great food is great and the conversation is wonderful.
OMG ? I have been working down the street for years! And never stopped because of the condition of the building ??♀️ Let me tell you, it’s been my loss! Co worker talked me into trying it today. AND OMG! Did I say OMG already? It was amazing! Reasonably priced. They don’t take cards. Bring cash! Trusted my co worker to take cash later? Get passed the look of the building and experience some darn good BBQ ? Tried the sliced beef and the potato salad! Both delicious. Excuse the bite, I couldn’t wait to take a pic before tasting ?
Amazing food. The ribs were falling off the bone and melted in your mouth! The sliced brisket was perfectly done with a wonderful sauce that was itself an excellent blend of spices and seasonings. Some of the best BBQ in Lubbock! Don't miss out!!!
I hate to say it, but the quality of the food has gone downhill during my past two visits.
Loved this place. Brisket was perfectly moist with a great portion. You get a great tasting 8” smoked sausage, the ribs were awesome. Will order again. 3 hearty plates for $32 total. Cash only though so be prepared.

Food competes with conversation for the main event and both are beyond imagination....like eating at a friends from the first visit.... mr Powell is an enigmatic charismatic BBQ artist... u won't find better in lubbock, and u've made a friend that keeps u wanting to come back for the entire culinary experience .... family photos, graduation, military, football..., less restaurant than cultural experience... I'm addin' a star here ?, so make it 6!!! Word....
