Drive thru person was rude, wouldn't let me even finish a sentence, confused me asking for sweet heat with sweet tea accepted the tea and repeated needing sweet heat, also ordered blackened ranch at the speaker. Got one thing of sweet heat for a big order, no blackened ranch, the tea wasn't even sweet, and again very rude and I live all the way in shallowater so I don't have the luxury of just going back. Use to be my favorite place but I can't even enjoy my order because of the attitude, and not getting my order right.
Thursday (4/14/22) my husband and I went to Popeyes and ordered A 3 piece white and A Shrimp. We checked our chicken dinner and it had 2 little bitty chicken strips. We told the cashier that's not what we ordered. He told it back and gave us 2 little bitty chicken thighs and walked away. We blew the horn and A lady came over after about 2 minutes. We asked for our money back and she snatched the bag and gave us our $15.+ back and slammed the window. This was about 7:30 and they didn't give us a receipt. On Milwaukee.
Great food at a reasonable price. Cashier went out of her way to get me a coupon code that got me the best possible deal. I highly recommend this outlet!
I only generally leave good reviews, but I'm leaving this one so that this location may get better and not end up closed.3/5/2022 I ordered a 3 piece spicy (1breast, 2 wings) and red beans and rice. In addition an order of popcorn shrimp.-after sitting for 13 minutes we finally make it to the window (only 3 cars in front).-we pay, and only then are told that the shrimp will take a "few more minutes"- 18 minutes later we receive the order after seeing multiple people inside the place eye rolling after not receiving orders.-employee walks out and just hands us the food lol. no acknowledgement of the 30minute wait.-i look inside the bags and realize that we have received only a piece of crust, 1 wing and one breast. the side is mashed potatoes, and the chicken is not spicy, it's regular.2 days prior to this we had great service, and very good food, timely delivery and a very friendly staff.
Got the flounder sandwich to go. It was obviously cooked hours before. It was tough and way too spicy even though I didn’t ask for spicy. It ended up in the garbage because it was too much trouble to drive all the way back to the store. Will not give this place another chance.

Dirty diner, no receipt was given, food made me sick at my stomach. Employees sitting in kitchen on phone, Sprite tasted like someone washed their feet in it.

Second time within two days that I’ve tried to visit this Popeye’s location. Something is desperately wrong.1ST time: (Sat. Jan 9th @ ≈1:30PM) There we’re 3 or 4 cars in the drive-thru waiting and another 3 or 4 people inside. I first tried the drive-thru and when getting to the order window, I sat there for just under 5 minutes with ZERO communication?I proceeded to leave the drive-thru and walk inside, where the 3 or 4 people were standing at the counter…NOT BEING SERVED OR SPOKEN TO AT ALL. There were approximately 5 employees working inside…just walking back & forth not speaking to any customers. I left.2ND TIME: (Sun. Jan 10th @ ≈7:15PM) 5 cars in the drive-thru line, all at a stand still. I had placed an ONLINE order (already paid) and had arrived at my scheduled time for pickup. I went to enter the building & the doors were LOCKED. The restaurant lobby was LOCKED & CLOSED at 7:15PM. I then proceeded join the drive-thru line…in which I waited for 30 (THIRTY) minutes…only to be told to drive around to the front and they will bring out my online order when it’s ready. (This is already 30 minutes passed my pickup window.) When I inquired as to when it would be ready…the individual on the intercom said “I’m not too sure…I’ll have to check.”As I write this review, I am now approaching a 45 minute wait for 5 piece tender meal with fries.Something is desperately wrong here.
Am I the only one who expects what I pay for? I went to Popeyes on Milwaukee, received the wrong order, contacted district manager, went back to have it replaced… Now when I say replaced I expect the entire order to be fresh, not the same food in the bag as it’s gotten cold from the 15 minute drive back. Am I wrong for complaining about that and the fact that I was made to feel like the mistake was mine? The food that wasn’t incorrect was not replaced because when I got home, the sides and my popcorn shrimp was stone cold. All I expect is to feel appreciated for my business and when mistakes are made you make them right. A customer should never feel worse after this kind of situation. I’ve contacted corporate as the district manager wasn’t interested in making sure that a customer is satisfied. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Hot, fresh and delicious food is all I ask for as that is what I paid for.
