Bathroom filthy. People walking back and forth behind counter but no acknowledgement as I stood there. Girl at counter had something all over her shirt (could’ve been water-don’t low) and acted like she wanted to be anywhere but here. Coke was empty except for fizz so I got Dr Pepper and I can’t even taste it. Wondering if the food is safe to eat. ? If the public area is dirty what’s the back like?
Worst experience I’ve had at Popeyes. My wife went to place an order online and went through the drive thru to confirm. She was told to pull into a space and ended up waiting around 45 minutes. She explained she was tired of waiting to one of the employees and was told her attitude wasn’t acceptable, she followed up with the on duty manager who was extremely rude. After speaking with Noah she was told that the meal would be replaced. He apologized profusely so we went to pick up the meal, Noah was in the store and asked if the order had been wrong which wasn’t the case, the issue was the service, we were told to pull ahead and waited for 20 minutes with no help as the drive thru emptied out. He was sending the message to his drive thru employee that he was under the impression the order was wrong, she came multiple times to argue this with us while she was polite it was frustrating to see how this played out, my wife was clear on the 45 minute wait and attitude, he was very clear that he would replace the order and completely changed his mind when we spent the gas to drive to the facility.We decided to drive away it was clear he sent us to the space to sit and wait. This store should be closed down there is no accountability, the employees have disdain for their customers. We will never eat here again
This place is a train wreck! On 4/11/22 I simply ordered 5 individual pieces of spicy chicken. After waiting almost 20 mins, they handed me a bag with a box of 5 chicken strips and a pint of Mac&Cheese. I went inside to contest the orders and they gave me what looked like three kids meals with 3 biscuits and thank god there was 5 pieces of chicken, but within three boxes?!?!?! All of that would have fit in one box!I have no idea what they are paying them to work there but I assure you, I would be worth $20-$25 an hour!! The sad thing is we eat there about three times a month. I will never spend another dollar in that store and I recommend you don’t either!!
Do not go to this location. I hope the others are not like this. Waited in line forever. Finally got out and parked. Went inside and the lady in front of me did an online order still waiting 1 hour for her food, I ordered asked how fresh the food was manager said she made herself. Get home just around the corner and nothing is even room temperature. Call up there and spoke with Crystal the manager and was not apologetic at all. Said I could come back up there. I told her I would not waste my gas and will not be back
Worst customer service of any place in Lubbock. And the food is right there with it. You gotta do better. The commercials on tv make it look worth it but it isn’t. At least at this location. Even the building is raggedy and worn out like the employees. What a shame.
Try to not come late at night to eat. Or else some item choices might be out of stock. At least, I think that's what happened to me. Oh and dining-in won't be available late at night as well. These things and the fact that they didn't give me a spoon when I ordered mashed potatoes make this review a 4-star one.The food was good though (chicken sandwich combo: a sandwich, one side, one drink). I'll just remember to ask them for utensils.
Waited 20 minutes in store to find out the girl at the register does not know how to actually put in an order. Waited another 10 minutes for a refund. Do not waste your time, customer service is the last priority here.
We went through the drive-through and ordered popcorn shrimp and a spicy chicken sandwich, comma when we got our food we got someone's strip meal Is, with a side of rice and beans, and an Apple pie. Went back when inside took 3 minutes after the girl that was working a counter saw me and ran to the back for the manager to notice me and call for someone to come to the counter, let them know that it was the wrong order. nobody apologized and within 30 seconds got my right order
The stars are for the food, because I do think the quality is there with a lot of their food. However, I am VERY disappointed with what $8 gets you with their shrimp combo. (See photo). Usually we will get at LEAST twice as many shrimp as we did this time. $18 for two of these? No thanks. Will not be going back since the portion sizes are for toddlers.
