Worst Mexican food in town!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!! I got a simple Mexican dish (Al Pastor) and the meat was old and absolutely disgusting, customer service is terrible, and they refused to give me a refund, instead they tried to give me in store credit which is stupid because I will never eat here again, Rosa’s Cafe is better, anything is better really!!!!!
Stopped here for breakfast on a visit to Lubbock to see some family. I was looking through the reviews to see who was nearby and who had the good food. This place had like a 4.3 rating if I can remember correctly. So we ended up going and the service was good and friendly. The breakfast burritos were a good size and had good taste. The menudo on the other hand wasn’t good at all, it had no seasoning or even a menudo flavor. It tasted like I was eating tripe and homney in a watery soup. From appearance it looked awesome but nope….no taste whatsoever. I recommend everything but the menudo.
My mother was feeling breakfast burritos. The customer service was great, they took my order, got the money from our car, and brought our order. The food was terrible. The tortillas were hard; (maybe day old reheated tortillas). The burritos we got tasted burnt. You know when you cook on a salten and you don't change the grease? The burrito was big, but nasty. This is my second time eating here. I won't return. The parking lot is small. If you have a big body car you'll have a challenge parking and leaving. Eat at your own risk. We work hard for our monies, we would like to spend where they take care of us.
Ate here for the first time today, though I’ve picked up menudo for my husband before in the past. He loves it! It was delicious. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas with an egg, and a very refreshing pepino de agua Fresca to drink. I love that their breakfast is available all day and their prices are super affordable. Service was great as well! 10/10 recommend.
The food wasn't to bad the portions were small considering the price. They charged extra for everything like sour cream & guacamole but when ordering the girl said it came with it. The salsa was not good the chips were the saying you can gage a place by the salsa ? What I don't like since after covid some of these smaller Mexican restaurants are over priced and the service is slow. This place wasn't busy and had plenty of employees.
Good food Great staff the lady at the register has been there for a while now she so nice and always very helpful
The food had an excellent taste. Beer is served here. Was well attended by female waitress. Plan to go there again. Food prices maybe high but worth it.
I ordered and paid on their online system. When I arrived staff advised there was no order. They had no order. Staff was rude and did not help. I asked why they had that system and they said they’ve been trying to get it off.Edit: I came back and asked for a manager. She took care of this issue and was much nicer. It is still pretty frustrating that no one was helpful and the online ordering system is flawed.
Went there for lunch. Ended getting their Menudo (all you can eat- $9). Very good. Full after 2 bowls.
So I took my son and daughter out to eat on Saturday November 27 for dinner.... we were not Greeted at the door, we sat ourselves down and waited to our waitress to take our ordered, she was good the first few minutes that we were there brought us our drinks and food... but our food was cold and after a while our waitress never came to check on us so I paid and we left. Yes they were busy but if the other waitress could tend to the tables they had she could do the same, we will not be back
