Great hangout in Lubbock. Drinks are fair priced, outdoor area is loads of fun, and you definitely don’t want to miss the turtle races.
Nice spot during the week day to go relax and enjoy the night. The outdoor screen is amazing and great for major sporting events.
Taking your bar chair is not cool. Because they say they do not have enough chairs for large crowds they come with security to ask you to give up your chair when you are a paying patron is not right. We are from DFW area and have never encountered this situation. Go get with your leadership and executive meeting and ask for a budget for more chairs. I’m sorry do not go to this place we tolerated the purse check and ID at the door but what the heck it’s a bar and food joint
Great open spaces and lots of fun fun games! Just be aware that if you open a tab at the bar you always have to go to the bar and if you open a tab with a server you can only order with that server even though it's a very open and walking around area. Great for large groups!
Love the burgers. Staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you ?
Alyse is one of the best bartenders I've had. Super attentive. Knowledge about sports and alcohol. Kinda nerdy and hilarious. Can't wait to go see her again. Oh and woodrows atmosphere was okay too. I love bringing my dog here.
My awesome nephew invited me to hangout here and then later on one of my beautiful nieces came by as well. Great atmosphere, fun times and wonderful memories. Fun games for all and the staff was very nice.
We were here a year ago and had a great time. Came back this year and they wouldn’t let my friend in because his ID is expired. We’re 35 years old..luckily no other bar in town cares about such nonsense, as expired IDs are still valid proof of age according to the TABC.
This place is extremely unprofessional and rude, and hides behind the “police” who are just as old as the customers. The customers are wayyy over served and try to start problems with others, but the bouncers response is to remove everyone. The bartenders, servers, bouncers, and managers are extremely unfriendly, and kicked us out (a group of 5+) for sticking up for a girl who was about to get jumped by a whole group of people. We will not be back, and it sucks because we were regulars here. There are other places to go in Lubbock that actually do the right thing when it comes to protecting young women.
Talk about a cool place to hangout and have a drink! LW is a vibe. The drinks are good and overall environment is great too. We enjoy hanging in the outside area and playing corn-hole or watching a game on the big screen. Highly recommend!
