Came in on 4/27/22 around 4:15pm and when our food was brought out to us we noticed an error with our meal. We politely noticed the lady at the front who apologized and stated she would talk to the cook. Long story short the cook and front desk lady were very apologetic, polite, and went above and beyond to make things right. The food was fantastic as always but this experience really made my day. I will come back because of the exceptional customer service!
I haven't been to la Madeleine in over 2 years.The food was just okay. Not as fresh as it used to be. My chicken Friand was not very warm, a bit burnt on bottom, and also a bit stale.It wasn't too busy, but there only appeared to be 2 employees working. We waited several minutes to finish placing our order as the person taking it answered the phone while we were ordering!
Front of house didn’t greet or provide any direction for which register to go to until we were waiting. The workers were talking, yelling, and singing loudly - it really created a disruptive environment. It never stopped - just random loud singing and yelling back and forth from kitchen. Very unprofessional. The coffee was just bad. Incredibly weak, like water. Palmiers were freezer burned and tasted bad. Scrambled eggs had lots of strings, not sure what that was. I came specifically to get a French boulangerie feel and food, but what I got was a poor imitation. And for heavens sakes, please call the iconic French pasties “pain aux chocolat”, and not chocolat croissants.Many tables were left dirty.Really, really disappointing breakfast today. Je ne revient pas.
I ordered a bowl of soup and they gave me half a container and I measured the soup in a coffee cup and it didn't even fill the cup. For $6 and some change plus tax this wouldn't even feed my child let alone me.
Great atmosphere, great customer service. The lady at the register who I’m guessing is the owner was the sweetest. She blessed us with a couple treats just for having us waiting a bit which we didn’t mind as we admired their delicious desserts. We will def be back to dine in. I def recommend 10/10
I enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup on a cold day. The entryway is rather crowded with people placing orders and getting carry- out, and as a new customer, I wasn't sure about seating/ ordering, etc. Otherwise, I had a pleasant meal.
I love the space and the treats. I don't love the shortages. The issue predates the pandemic. Having to beg for the self-serve coffee cannisters to be refilled at 9:30 in the morning just seems...suboptimal. I am grateful they re-opened, but I hope the overall experience improves because S. and I love to solve the world's problems on the patio of a Sunday morning/afternoon.

Super fast and friendly take out experience. They were fast to greet me and get my order out fresh. Even though they were slammed it was a good visit! Hardworking employees make the world go round ✨And the employee who double checked to make sure my soup lids were all the way on so they wouldn’t spill on the way home deserves a raise!
