Omg, this place is so good!!! So good, we ordered (via Uber Eats) from them 2 days in a row! You cannot go wrong with the potato soup, tomato basil soup, ginger muffins, the salads and the brisket baked potato. Note: their baked potatoes are big enough to share with a couple friends -- about the size of half a football! Absolutely scrumptous. Let's see if we go three for three. Yuuummmm!!!

This might explain why it was empty, but according to the manager, there is no more all you can eat salad bar. I have been to Jason's deli all over the great state of Texas, three in the last to months in the Austin San Antone area, and they all still have all you can eat salad bar. They still charge you the $10 in Lubbock, but it is for one trip :C
First time here. Zach helped me today and did an amazing job! It was quick and easy. While I was making my salad (to go) there were two attendants keeping the bar clean and fresh. The entire restaurant (that I could see) was spotless. My food was excellent! This will be my new “go to” restaurant!! Great job guys!!!
Always ate here with no problems. This time, our food was taking longer than usual to be delivered to our table. Restaurant not busy ... just a few tables with customers. Kitchen crew just milling around their area, laughing and joking around. When I went to check on our order, they were all on a tray. Asked why it hasn't been delivered yet and was told the guy in charge of bringing food to tables was not around. So why didn't anyone in their group not bring it? One of the kitchen crew finally brought them to our table (grudgingly). Soup and pasta were already cold. Very disappointed.

I absolutely love Jason's deli! They have fabulous soup, delicious sandwiches, potatoes and pasta, and more! Everything is fresh, hot, and very delicious. They also have a salad bar that is truly amazing. Quality of service is exceptional, with prompt courteous servers and wait staff. I would have posted a picture of my lunch, but I was so hungry I ate it all before I thought to take a picture! I had half of a Chipotle chicken and avocado panini sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. It also comes with blue corn chips and salsa if you like. If you're looking for a great place for lunch whether you live in Lubbock or you're traveling through, Jason's deli is the place to stop. You will not be disappointed!
The only reason I’m voting so low is because of my experience when I came to this deli. I saw a girl with beats headphones on eating right from the salad bar. She was in full uniform putting her hands in the items and then eating licking her fingers. She was also very rude to me and continued to stare at me while i was eating making me feel super uncomfortable.
Half sandwich and salad combo is excellent. Salad bar is always fresh and has great variety. Don't ignore the free ice cream when you're done.
If you don't like what you had it is your own fault. You make the salad. Always fresh and plenty of it. Best soups in town.
