Went to pick up some BBQ this evening and was pleased with the speed of the service but I am severely disappointed with the care and handling of my food. When we checked the bag ay home the bbq sauce had busted open all over the place and one of the mac n cheese containers had been completely crushed. Unfortunately will not be returning to this locations.
I went to the 7900 block of Slide Road location today for lunch I ordered the lady was nice but, the lady who was working the back was yelling at her child that was with her behind the counter and when she brought out my sandwich she was rude, she told me she didn't get pickles and onion very rudely and I told her I ordered them with my sandwich and she very rudely told me "I didn't take your order". Doesn't matter right? It's in my order I would like pickles and onion please, she snapped, "I'm getting them". Complaining at me the whole way she brings them out.... Seriously? Poor customer service. I won't be going back that's for sure!
Chopped brisket sandwich didn't have much flavor. The ribs were dry, they should have cut to order, they were precut and dry. Potato salad was good.

While visiting Lubbock I at over at the store on slide rd. The food was very good and had a unique home cooked kind of feel! On top of some of the best barbeque I've tasted, the two night crew lady's working where extremely hardworking and very guest orientated. when I return home I will tell everyone they have to try that place! 10/10 would go again!
Ordered a pound of brisket. Toughest, worst I ever had. Won't go back.
The customer service was horrible, the 2 females wkn there were hateful and rude!So rude that I will not be going bk! Ownership needs to re-evaluate their poor choice of horing!..GREAT WAY TO LOOSE BUSINESS!!!
The most delicious traditional barbecue. The brisket, ribs and macaroni and cheese literally melt in your mouth. The potato salad is delicious! The whole place smells mouth watering. Come eat here and thank me later.
Was in Lubbock for work, and decided to try J&M and it DID NOT disappoint. This place was absolutely incredible. The food was great and the service was amazing. The food was prepared quick, and our team left full and happy. Highly recommend.
