We are definitely.goimg here from now on for our Hibachi needs. The ambiance. The service. The flavors were top notch. Absolutely loved our chef. We visited for a going away dinner for a dear friend & they did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back. Pictured are:California rollHibachi steak w/fried rice (no veggies)Hibachi steak (med rare) w/ fried rice & veggiesHibachi with salmon & fried rice. Each Hibachi dinner is served with soup & salad ?Be prepared to walk over a koi pond. Very neat feature of the restaurant.
Service was horrible. Ordered appetizer that never came out . Tea was not refilled. It was a bday dinner that was horrid to say the least. Dessert never came out so another server went to check on it for us. The appetizer was not taken off we were charged a 18% tip for 3 people. Chef was the only thing worth a damn . We will not come back unless these issues are addressed. It's a shame our experience was so horrible .And worse yet that we were told no manager was on duty to try to work out the issues we were having.
The food was good. Service not so much. You expect this to be an experience. The chef didn’t even seem to want to be there. He didn’t engage at all. We could have gone to a restaurant and gotten food that was as good or better. The hostess was extremely rude. A young girl that seemed bothered by questions. And then we ordered a shushi roll and it was given to another person. So we had to take the roll to go.
My wife and I love to eat here because the California rolls always taste so fresh! And to my surprise they have Revolver Blood & Honey at a cheaper price than I've seen ANYWHERE ELSE!!! We've also brought friends here because we enjoy the atmosphere and the service has always been above & beyond! Our last waiter yesterday did a phenomenal job of taking care of us!
it was delicious indoor dinn
It was a great dining experience
Great sushi, friendly service and our waiter BUD was EXCELLENT!!!
I don't ever write reviews of restaurants but I felt the need to this time! I'm sure on any other day Hayashi is a lovely place to be but I went in on a Sunday, probably about the same time everyone gets out of Church. The restaurant was obviously running short-staffed, and during a rush. I'm sure this place is lovely any other time of the day, I've been here when it has, but today was nearly inexcusable.First of all, our waiter was doing the best he can, but management was obviously overbooking him. He was very stressed out and I believe he was waiting about six tables. I don't want any blame put on him.The biggest offender of my visit is this; my mother ordered a sushi roll and bit into something hard and gritty, like a bone. That should have never happened in a kitchen, it ruined her lunch. I was very sad to see it. Our waiter was great about understanding her, sending it back to the kitchen, and taking it off our bill. The last thing I want to complain about is the clientele and management. I always thought of Hayashi as a well-managed, nice restaurant. I was seated next to a family who was letting their child watch YouTube very loudly. Obviously this wasn't something that could be well-controlled but I think it says a lot that this Hayashi has gone from a nice, quiet, sophisticated place to get sushi- to a place that allows disrespectful and irresponsible parents to taint other people's lunch. The fact that our waiter was overbooked, our food was tainted, and there was no clientele control makes me wonder if this place is being managed by someone that just does not care. I feel sorry for the employees, I feel sorry for the chefs who are obviously being rushed, and I feel sorry for the restaurant. This used to be a place I thoroughly enjoyed. I pray I just caught this restaurant on a bad day.

My sushi roll has something hard and gritty in it. The drink menu was covered in something congealed and sticky. They took that roll off my ticket, but no manager came to speak with me? Honestly I'll never be back. Any sushi place that dirty and poorly prepared is probably unsafe
