I've driven by this place lots of times and never stopped. After walking out of Miguel's down the street due to bad service, we decided to give Fuzzy's a try. So glad we did. The fried Mahi fish tacos were amazing, and the chips and salsa were delightfully different. The beer was really cold too.The staff were exceedingly friendly and the food was out within 5 minutes.May have a new go-to place next time I'm in Lubbock. I'm a creature of habit and have my favorites I go to all the time. This is definitely on that list now.
I travel all over TX and this is by far my favorite Fuzzy's. Great atmosphere in an old building with personality. Caters to more than just TTU. This Fuzzy's opens at 7am and medical staff just off shift might enjoy a cold one here on an early Saturday morning. Haven't been on Broadway Street in Lubbock for several years and thanks for the memories.
Well I was very disappointed Fuzzy's. After spending $42.78 they did not give me the 2 bags of chips I ordered for my queso, which was cold. I had ordered the nachos and to my surprise there was no cheese! And to top it all off...I found a metal bread tie in my nachos which I chewed on and was overly disgusted! Come on!???Update: After reading my review the GM contacted me and wanted to make right. The only thing I didn't like about our conversation is when I told him about the metal bread tie..he said he didn't have anything there like that which made me think that maybe it wasn't a bread tie but it was something in there that didn't belong there..that I am sure of. Anyway when he asked me what I would like I told him a refund, however, he didn't issue the refund because he "gotten paid for it yet", meaning, I'm guess by door dash" and instead told me to contact door dash myself and fight with them about the refund because it wasn't going to be easy. Then he offered to remake my meal and deliver it to me himself, which he did. The food was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed it very much, but I still feel like because it was such a bad experience the first time and because he asked what I wanted and told him, he should have given me the refund. Now if anyone knows about how they "get paid" when it comes to door dash please let me know..because I feel like he was dishonest about that part just so he wouldn't have to issue the refund. If so, I'm taking my star back.
Great food! $3 shiner on sundays is an added bonus.
First time I ordered through Door Dash, it was late and they couldn’t take my order. Thats Okay, I came here the next morning and completed my order. I was so very Pleased that the tacos were Fabulous.I am back and ordered the Spicy Pork Nachos. I was not Disappointed. No wonder this place is so popular. They have Fantastic Food.
To the Broadway location: I always have a good time at this location. The bartender is friendly and I enjoy the brisket tacos ? while my spouse enjoys the shrimp tacos. Definitely worth the visit.
Got lunch today with my parents and had a great experience. All the employees were very friendly and nice. The food was great but it's a Fuzzy's so that's kind of a given. I don't remember the gentleman's name who was at the register but he was especially personable! The people who were in the kitchen were also really nice.
I'd appreciate it if the burrito bowl is less salty. But Amanda and other staff members in the morning are very friendly.
One of my favorite spots to visit pre and postgame
This was our first experience at Fuzzy's Taco Shop. We were greeted by Angela as we made our way to the counter. Angela was not only friendly, professional, but went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and offer suggestions from the menu. The shredded brisket quesadillas were fantastic. The seasoning was the appropriate amount giving a flavor pop. Moreover, the two taco plate gives the customer a choice of type of taco and sides so you can taste a variety from the menu. The ingredients were fresh. The wait time for our order was quick, and the price was very good for the amount of food we received. I highly recommend and will return next time we are in town!
