This place is so delicious! The Las Vegas Sushi Rolls, Steak/Shrimp Fried Rice, and the Green Curry dish are a must! love love love
Part of a party for my nephew, I got a couple rolls of sushi and my husband got hibachi chicken, both were absolutely delicious! The rolls were very generously sized and portioned. My husband enjoyed his hibachi chicken and clear soup, it was good although pretty typical. I was very impressed by the sushi rolls, so we look forward to going back and trying it again. We were the only group in the building, which meant we had sole care of the way a staff. We were a large party, so things took a little bit of time which to be expected.
I really wanted to like this place. Ordered from here a total of 3 times, all carryout. It’s quite pricey, and the quality of the food we got was definitely not worth the pricing. Each time, although all 3 of these times was around covid time periods, the front door was locked and we were made to wait at the front door and sit around waiting for someone to finally come to the front and give us our food after knocking and waiting for sometimes up to a half hour. The 3rd and final time after just over a half hour my wife finally had to go all the way to the back and walk in through the back door just to (politely of course) ask for our order. The food we got always seemed very bland, and after the 3rd time we decided that would be our last time. Now that said, maybe part of the food issues is just because it was all carry out. Maybe dine in is a different experience, I don’t know. Hypothetically, if some much needed changes/adjustments were made to this place, I would be willing to return and try again.
Ordered on DoorDash and our food was ready at a decent time. But it was clear that some of the vegetables in the meal had not been washed and our beef was very undercooked.
the food is really tasty, portions are large, and the prices are fair. my friends and I love this place. also the sushi is too good!
Best Asian food in Lubbock! Great tasting, large portions, and very reasonable prices. We usually get takeout, but like to dine-in too so we can enjoy the salad that is served before the meal.
ZERO STARS. ZERO STARS. ZERO STARS. Ridiculously long wait times for literally anything. Every time. 2 items, stood in the lobby 25 minutes. Was 10 minutes before someone even came to the hostess stand. I’m convinced you could order a fortune cookie and you’d be waiting 20 minutes. Taste is not even near worth the wait. I will never give this place another cent and the way it’s run, it doesn’t deserve to be open. Dine elsewhere and save yourself hours and hours of time. What a joke.
Disappointed that I was charged $7 for the Hibachi Chicken Side order and received this. Ruined my first time experience.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! The vegetables in my curry were rotten, the noodles were beyond salty and mushy, the coconut soup tasted off.. and smelled rotten.I never write bad reviews, but this food not only tasted disgusting, but was certainly not safe to serve or to consume. I will NEVER order for East Moon again.
Not impressed with the sushi here at all. It's not the worst I've ever had, but it's also not vey good. The fish is lower quality, and the sticky rice is awful. It was firm and almost crunchy...not soft at all, like it should've been. The portion sizes were decent, but the nigiri pieces are definitely overpriced. Also, their soy sauce tastes terrible. It has some kind of a sweet taste to it that was unpleasant.
