Very early this morning, I parked and a lady employee was outside, I ask if it was okay to go inside. She very politely said yes, I said thank you ma'am. So I'm going in and the same lady appears behind the counter, I told her that was quick! I ordered two different breakfast sand.'s and 4 "Old Fashion" which I constantly call "Original" lol! I told her how up in the far Northeast there use to be a Dunkin' Donut on every corner! Trucking...The food was prepared and brought to me hot and a friendly face to go with it! I will be back!!
The employees were super friendly and appeared to be working quite hard. I hadn't really eaten at Dunkin since I was in college in Atlanta from '11 to '14. I don't remember the hash brown portion being so small. I looked it up and I guess 6 is correct. However, the ludicrously small portion would have been okay if they tasted as good as I remembered. Instead, they were burnt to a black crisp and just tasted like burnt oil. The sandwich I had (sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel just like I used to order) was better in flavor than the hash browns but was also burnt. All the wonderful little everything bits were just blackened char pieces. The donuts were decent, not great, but that was always true of Dunkin, so those were as good as expected. The worst part of the meal, by far, was the iced caramel craze latte. I don't know what it's supposed to taste like but I assumed it would be some sort of caramel latte. Instead, there was no caramel flavor and just a hint of coffee. I know that Dunkin is for the anti-Starbucks crowd that hates the taste of coffee but this just tasted like a large glass of milk that had maybe looked at some coffee from across the room. I literally took it to a Starbucks and had them dump it for me and I ordered a real drink from them instead.
I'm done with this location, until the employees learn to read what they are making or get more training. I order a frozen coffee with caramel swirls. Not caramelized milk. I watched her make it and complained when I got it. I just got a stare back and no answer. I'm glad my food was fixed right. So after this I'm done for a long while.
Not a review but more of a warning for any teens or people who plan on wanting to work in any Dunkin’ Donuts in Lubbock. They are fraudulent. Take advantage of young adults and steal from each other. Not to mention how there are older adults who work here and the only sense of power they have in life is bullying new employees. All I have to say is if you do decide to work here, KEEP EACH CLOCK OUT PAPER THAT HAS YOUR HOURS! Evelyn Hinojos-Gonzales was the manager when I worked there in 2016 and was cutting peoples hours just so she (AND MANY MORE MANAGERS AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS) can get higher incentives for labor. She also tried to blame me for my drawer coming up short and luckily my best friend who was the night shift manager caught it and already had a suspicion that she was cutting people’s hours behind everyone’s back. How did he know? He kept each slip and made sure to count every hour and compare to his pay stub (which once came 8-10 hours short than what it should have been). Magically after that he never had a problem with his hours being wrong. I can’t count the times that money has come out missing from my bag because the people that worked there when I was there were thiefs! 3 managers were fired due to them stealing money. And Evelyn if you ever see this, this is Andrea Acosta. If you have a problem please let me know because I won’t mind fixing it since you clearly love to play with people money. You BUM
I go to this one because it is so close to my house but try not to go when the "B team" is working. The "A team" is one lady who provides excellent service and is always friendly even when she is the only one working. Otherwise the service is slow (30 to 45 minutes in the drive thru) and the order is never right. I didn't realize it was the "B team" until it was too late to get out of the drive thru and it was a new experience; the drive through left their microphone on and I heard the staff talking badly about the customers; especially the ones in the lobby. When I told the girl at the window that it was left on, her response was "sorry". Do I say "sorry" when I recommend people not to go to this one? Do I say "sorry" and throw a fit when they mess up my order again?
I always try and order the mangonadas and they just say they “don’t have that” when they are too lazy to make it so now I’m stuck in the traffic line since there is no way out because they’re too lazy to make a drink
I’m honestly not even sure what this is supposed to be ?. Not to mention, our “hot” drinks were ice cold.
Donuts are a sad show for donuts. Much better donuts in Lubbock. Dunkin is the worst in my opinion.
Dunkin Donuts is way better than Starbucks, too me Starbucks coffee is bitter & expensive for the sizes of cups they use. Dunkin Donuts is cheaper & larger cups. And good breakfast sandwiches & other foods. Give Dunkin a try. Hey I use to go to Starbucks but found Dunkin Donuts never been back to Starbucks.
The october donuts a very good
