We walked in not busy at all a gentleman was standing there waiting to be seated no one came by we were there at least 30 mins and the entire time this man was getting irritated waiting to be seated. I could definitely understand if it was busy but it wasn't so we ended up walking out. It's It's good place to eat but today was just absolutely ridiculous waiting on staff
My son and I went to the Cotton Patch on Thursday 4/28/2022 @ about 8 pm. We were seated pretty quickly. About 10 minutes later our waiter made his way to our table. We ordered mushrooms, 2 sweet teas, and 2 chicken fried steaks. About 10-15 minutes later all of our food came out at the same time. When I asked about our tea, I was told that they were making it. Our food was lukewarm and my son's chicken fried steak was really pink. Our tea finally arrived. He dropped off the tea and just took off. We didn't see him again until he dropped off our bill. We have ate here many times and it is usually pretty good, Thursday was the worst experience we have ever had.
My Grandaddy eats at the Cotton Patch at least once a week and he loves it! The food is always great, but the service is even better. Chloe Macha always takes great care of him. I am so grateful for everyone at the Cotton Patch in Lubbock.

We went in to eat lunch today, around 1pm. No one seemed to want our business. it was not busy, most tables were not bussed, so the hostess said she would clear off a table. She cleaned about half, and then disappeared into the kitchen. She finally came out of the kitchen with a to go bag for the customer at the bar. Not really upset with her, but there was no manager around, and no one seemed concerned with our business, so we finally left. We won't be back.
Food was great. We had a nice lady helping us, very attentive. I had the chicken fried brisket. I wanted a bit more for the price, but otherwise no issues.
Okay so first we ordered the brisket queso and it was cold. Like just came out of the fridge cold. So they heat that up and bring it back at the same time as our entree which the potatoes were also cold. They left the gravy off my husband's and I ordered chicken fried chicken and they gave me chicken fried steak which was mostly breading and hardly any "steak". Then when we finished our cold food the waitress was nowhere to be found. NOBODY was in the restaurant. We seriously think they forgot we were in the restaurant. I walked around the entire restaurant and couldn't find a single employee. We waited 20 minutes just for someone to bring our ticket. We won't be back.
We waited almost two hours for our food. They got our order wrong three times and forgot to make my food completely. We finally received our rolls at the end of our "meal" and only got one refill and after my second refill the waiter never brought back my drink. By the time we got out silverware our food was completely cold and our chicken was mushy. DO NOT EAT HERE save yourself the time and go somewhere else.
I give negative stars if it was an option. It took over an hour for our food to come out and it came out cold. The manager was spoken to and couldn’t care less. Server was terrible and the host was dumb as a box of rocks. Would really like to see this place close it’s doors for good. Will start driving the 45 minutes to the Plainview location because we will never step foot in the Lubbock location again.
Felt bad for the waitress handling a large lunch rush by herself. Manager was called out more than once, so a lot of free desserts were handed out that day. We waited too long for the wrong meal. I think if she had more help, our experience would have been better. It was not her fault, or the kitchens fault. Just under staffed.
