The menu says the Chicken fry Steak is Big. It was about the size of a quart jar lid and as tough as a shoe sole. Onion straws cold. Waitress was very good. Won't ever be back very disappointed

Really looked forward to visiting this restaurant suggested by our family in Lubbock who have been to the restaurant many times. Service was great, food was good. Only one item we ordered had an issue and that was the BLT. Bacon is coated and fried causing it to be hard to chew, possibly just over fried. The night we went had a DJ on stage and had they been there when we walked in, we would have left. Unfortunately they were on break when we arrived snd after food arrived we weren’t going g to walk out. DJ was on a radio broadcast live from Cooks and continued to yell over the microphone like nobody could hear and it was absolutely ridiculous. Recommend If going to enjoy a family get together you might want to make sure of whose on stage.
Amazing atmosphere. Great live music and service. Food is always good.
Will go back for the drinks and entertainment, but will highly consider eating the meal before we go. Average American fare at best. Service was good.
Mikayla was very considerate and suggested an easy favorite which I'll have to order again sometime soon. The pork chop plate fried. Delicious with gravy.
Had a great time here the atmosphere was set with old school cars, great hospitality and awesome food…the entire NELLY crew appreciates each and every team member at Cook’s Garage!!
We attended a car show here and had a great time. Big place with live music and multiple bars. Great service and food was above average. We will be back.
Excellent!!!What a very nice nostalgic atmosphere!!This is apparently a concert venue, an actual garage that repairs actual vehicles, and most popular is the restaurant!! Our waitress was amazing ? she checked on us ,made us feel at home, and the Chicken Fried Steak was like I had growing up - THE REAL THING!!!!Thank you for this wonderful place where home is still home!!!!!You might can find quality food in another place, but you will not find anything more authentic to the South Plains of West Texas!!!
