Dinner was incredible. You'd never know this gem was sitting inside of a Double Tree off of Avenue Q. Such a pleasant surprise! Really modern and beautiful on the inside, of course it is a hotel, after all and the restaurant is located near the indoor pool... So, you will see families passing by in swimsuits in towels - so if that would dampen the experience/ambience for you, maybe try to make sure your table is tucked away in one of the north corners at the back of the dining room. Riley was our server and he was excellent. We'll be sure to ask for a reservation in his section when we return next time. Our group had the bison filet, shrimp and grits, and cajun pasta. All of which were a 10/10. I've lived in Lubbock my entire life and this is definitely one of the best dining experiences I've had. We also ordered drinks - the pineapple margarita was delicious (and strong) and the chilton's were great as well. Coconut tres leches was heavenly too. Definitely prepare yourself for the bill... The money you'll drop here is very atypical for dining out in the Lubbock area, but the food, service, and experience definitely make it worth the money!! (They also went out of their way to acknowledge and make the birthday of the friend we were celebrating at dinner very special!) FIVE STARS, CLARABOYA!:)
Loved the food and the service was all so great! The live piano was really nice but just too loud. It was difficult to talk the person sitting next to me.
fabulous dining experience. Antonio is such a talented Chef, and our server Johnny made the evening fun. Canât say enough good things about our evening!
The food was great! The drinks were great too! Riley was an excellent server. He made our night and we were so glad that we lucked out with him!
Always outstanding!
Great restaurant with high quality food and service. Great live music. I prefer a darker setting, but this was an outstanding experience.
Itâs in a Doubletree hotel - couldnât tell that from their ads. Our server Riley was great. The house Mule drink was very good. Everything else meh. Steak was ordered medium rare and it was blue. Seabass had fins and skin was still on but was rubbery and unpleasant. There was a singer/acoustic guitar guy playing moody music that felt kinda out of place. Riley got us a huge piece of German chocolate cake on the house to make up for the undercooked steak.
Absolutely superb ⦠Chef and his crew knocked it out of the park!
Five of us dined and all the food was excellent!
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere
