I have been going to this place for a long time, and I always love the food! The woman at the front has always been short, which I had no problem with. I understand they are very busy, and she has a lot to do so I never really paid it any mind.Last week I came in, and she was a complete raging witch. She served me the wrong thing, when I got the food I asked what it was, and she was having none of that. She told me it was what I ordered, always has been, and that's what I was getting. I was a little shocked, so I went back to my car and then looked at the food. I had paid a lot more than I usually pay so after a bit of starring at the bag, I went back in insisting that I get what I asked for. She declined, told me she didn't even have what I asked for, and was yelling hysterically and trying to mock me with another customer. After a while of watching her bicker and scream I finally got a refund and left without any food.I would love to come back here sometime because it's some of my favorite food in Lubbock! But I won't be in there for a while, or as long as I see her at the counter.
The lady at the front was extremely rude. I'm not a person who thinks everyone has to speak perfect English or understand it. But at least it would be nice the person at the front to be a good English speaker since she's at the front and dealing with customers. You might wanna check how she treats your customers...
China wok was actually sooo delicious. Def tasted fresh and I highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken plus the small round sugar bread that they have. I’ll def be coming back. 5 stars given
Ordered Kung Po Chicken and House Special Mei Fun.Mei Fun was eatable, but nothing I would enjoy eating, and looked terrible. The Kung Po was just disgusting and uneatable.
I have been twice and the experience has been similar each time. The chicken entrees are very good, crispy and fresh, and the sauces I tried (orange and ginger I believe) were well balanced with sweet and spicy and savory. The fried rice was meh, a bit one note and mostly tasted of soy sauce and oil. Unfortunately the lo mein was basically inedible. Noodles were fully old, soft, and overcooked and the taste was nothing but old fry oil, so I only ordered this the one time.So basically, come if you'll focus on the very tasty entrees, skip the lo mein and maybe the fried rice too.
This place is our go to! Normally food is hot, fresh and a lot! I’ve liked everything I’ve tried which is the orange chicken spicy and none spicy, beef and broccoli ? and the Kung pao chicken. The rice steamed rice ? is always fresh. I just wish they would be a little nicer. Good place for good, fresh hot Oriential food in a hurry!
Best Chinese food in lbk! Large servings!
It's so hard to give it a 5*. I've had food from our favorite place in Brownfield. I just can't help but compare to our place. It was good here though. Small dine in, quiet, good prices. One of the better places here in Lubbock.I had the shrimp fried rice.
The food here is always amazing, however the service I received while ordering was atrocious. The girl “greeted” me by yelling “what do you want”. I asked a few questions about the menu and was answered with the same annoyance she greeted me with.
I LOVE China walk. The food tastes like it came from Heaven.
