First time ever eating here! Came for the lunch buffet. Totally wonderful. The server was very attentive. My only complaint is I wanted "typical" pizzas. Like pepperoni, sausages, ham. They had great pies just a bit out there for my bland palette. Like Thai Basil pizza. Love Thai food! Just not the fusion.

I came to town to visit family, I was I’m looking for a really good place to have pizza and a little town like Lubbock. Capital pizza was suggested, so I figured we would give it a try. We ended up having the greatest experience due to a young man named Joseph! He had great suggestions, an amazing personality, He is incredibly good with small children! Being silly and entertaining them the entire time. making sure we never needed anything, I never skipping a beat with other guests. He truly made this a memorable trip. Thanks to Joseph, every time I come to Lubbock I will be going to Capitol Pizza. I highly recommend you stop in and give it a try!

If you love great pizza this is the spot! I’ve seen a lot of complaints about wait times but that just means exactly that! Totally worth the wait! If you get a chance to go ask for the server Joseph! He was kind, witty and just hilarious!! He was totally the life of the party even though he was extremely busy! Hats off to this guy because he made it an even better experience!! Will be back as well as requesting him specifically!!!

Hats off to the individuals working the closing shift on 4/25 that completely remade our order after a DoorDash issue occurred. You could have easily just given us a refund or credit but instead made sure we got what we ordered and it was SO GOOD! The smokehouse pizza is bomb. And the cheesecake to top it off is *chefs kiss*. We will absolutely be supporting this business in the future. And again to the closing shift that helped us, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Doughy. Underdressed. Overpriced. Dry. Poorly spiced. I apparently need to write at least 100 words but there's not much more to say. It was about 3 inches of crust all around. Very disappointing.

The pizza is good however it's expensive and we didn't get good service. The waiter never checked on us and we had to get up and ask for our check and a box.We had to ask for the box 2x cause they forgot. So no tip.Other than the bad service it's a cool rustic country style environment.

Capital Pizza has a lunch buffet from 11:00 till 2:00. My only wish, is that we could have been there at 11:00 instead of 1:45 when it was about to shut down.Their pizza crust was good and the hot sausage and mushroom pizza was good too. Other varieties, due to our late arrival, were not as fresh. But I bet they would have been great had we been there during the prime buffet time. The Adult buffet price was 9.99. Kids buffet was 6.99.

This will be the last time I order from capital pizza on slide. Called the order in to go. Was told 30-35 minutes. An hour later I’m still waiting. They ran out of bread was the excuse I was given. Had to ask twice to check on how much longer it be. The young ladies at the front had too much going on, so I don’t blame them. Food is good but for the prices they charge, shouldn’t have to wait that long for a to go order. And then when I got my order, pizza was cold. I know they don’t care about losing a customer, but hopefully my shared experience will help others.

We visited Lubbock and wanted a late lunch, chose Capital Pizza. Wow, had a tomato, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella pizza. The crust was perfect, and the ingredients were fresh. BONUS - the bottom of the pizza box has a target printed on it, and can be used for target practice!

Pizza was fresh and delicious, had the lunch special, so worth it all you can eat for around $ 11 comes with a salad as well. We also ordered a calzone, freshly baked and stuffed with meat. Big enough to not finish the whole thing. The place was clean and the staff here was friendly. We will be back. The only thing was we were hoping for a window seat to see the water...but really there isn't one. Overlooks the parking lot. Huh who knew. But over all this was a great place for food.
