Simply the best steak you'll ever eat. John and his wife are excellent owners and hosts alike. The environment is cozy from inside the restaurant, to the gift shop and grounds alike. Definitely will be back soon to enjoy another welcoming evening at Cagle's.
Good food. Margaritas ? were good!!! The bread was the best!!! First time coming here. Will return!!
The atmosphere was very good, and they had decent live music, but the barbecue was bland and had no smoke to it. You might say it's best to order steak at a steak restaurant but "bbq" is in the name. Maybe come for a beer and a show.
Super atmosphere! The staff are so friendly, attentive and efficient. They moved quickly and delivered delicious food so that our large group could eat at the same time. The food was fantastic, would love to know what the rub is on the filet 8oz. So tender and flavorful that it was a true epicurean delight!! Thank you for the great music too! Definitely recommend ? ?
Cagle's is always awesome!! Great food, atmosphere, and service!! My mom introduced us to Lisa Cagle, and what a lovely and precious person she is!!!!! I don't think you will ever be disappointed with a dining experience here!!! Give it a shot...we are always ready to go back!!
Amazing! The atmosphere is great. Cute buildings built to look like an old west town. Perfect for any type of event with several rooms available for rent. Excellent food. Great service.
Stopped here on a recent visit to Lubbock area and man was the food top notch! If you are looking for a great steak, Cagle's should be the top of your list. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful and the facility is set up so that if you have a large group, they can easily accommodate you.

Do not expect a decent bar drink. I asked what kind of tequila they have for a margarita on the rocks. The waitress said, “ tequila is tequila “ I said not to a 50 year old. They have one kind and I should have not gotten it. Made me sick. The $35 steak was delicious can’t complain about that very fatty though. The bread and cornbread cold not impressed. Should just offer beer and wine I suppose. Spent 120 I would have better just going to grocery store and grill it myself. Just disappointed overall had high expectations.
My daughter worked at Cagle Steaks & BBQ for a month, a very honest, punctual and determined waitress to say the least. There was an incident where something went missing from another coworkers book and was targeted immediately. Not to mention what she did every employee does, which is pick up the book look at the name of the waitress and put it on the counter like usual. She was then accused of taking money from this individuals book. She then shows up to work the next afternoon and is told that they are letting her go, Gene a manager there tells her “there is no proof or footage of you doing this but we can not have this, so I have to let you go.” So going off this information you were given you fired my daughter with no proof. Not to mention she was the only Hispanic waitress at this location. This was not the only racial incident that occurred at this location. But you would think this is 2022 and things would be better for our children, not in this situation. DO BETTER LUBBOCK BUSINESS OWNERS.
