Great Comfort Food!!! We were driving by and spotted the unique name of this restaurant. We decided to try the food after seeing the numerous cars in the parking lot. I ordered a cup of chicken and dumplings and fried steak fingers and gravy- soooo yummy!!! My husband ordered the patty melt and tortilla soup- just delicious. The fried pickle appetizer was fabulous!! Service was excellent!!!
Ordered $40 worth of food, never got confirmation that food was ready. Called restaurant SEVERAL times to see if food was ready and no answer! Didn't want to waste gas to go check if ready or not. Manager is an absolute a****** doesn't let anybody speak. Didn't do anything to resolve the problem so we spent $40 on nothing! Will never go back and will tell everyone about this experience.
Love the atmosphere, wonderful comfort food, weekday lunch specials and great service. Truly something on the menu for everyone!
Great food and service!! The restaurant was very clean and inviting. I haven’t been here in 6 months, but I will back.
A family member chose the patch because she loves anything fried. True to form, she ordered steak fingers and fried okra. She was very pleased. Seem silly but Cotton Patch has filtered water so you don't have to hold your nose to drink it! All told, everyone was happy
Very yummy!
Our server did a fair job. We had a table of 10 and it got a little hectic. My friend and I had to get back to work , so we ordered our food as drink orders were being taken. Good thing we did, refills on drinks slow arrival. We had eaten our complete meal and had 10 minutes to spare and our other 8 friends were just getting their food. I had a quesadilla and it was marginal, tortilla soup fair. Ice tea ok. These guys need to step it up to stay competitive in a town where establishments are moving in quickly
Staff was polite and helpful. We ordered chicken fried steak with gravy. It was huge and delicious! The side was made from scratch mashed potatoes.
The service was very slow for a Friday night with a half empty restaurant. The glasses were dirty. One still had lipstick on the rim. The food was okay, not very hot. The queso with chips was horrible. They also ran out of mashed potatoes during the dinner hour. Was not the best experience.
I love Cotton Patch in the DFW area so while in Lubbock on business I stopped in for dinner. We were sat right away and the restaurant was not busy but it was 20 minutes before we were acknowledged at the table. We had to ask for refills and waited for 15 minutes to receive our check. The food was ok but the grilled chicken was way too salty. The staff seems clueless and unapologetic. Will never eat at this location again.
