We love this place! We moved to Lubbock in January and this is our favorite local BBQ! Great food and great service! My choice is always the chopped brisket and my family also loves the pulled pork. Thank you!
JR, Ernie, Cathy, jai’lyn, and Jocelyn, were so attentive and amazing. So sweet too. The food was great! We had to take leftovers home! Stuffed! We will be back again!
Today was the worst meal we’ve ever had from this location. The ribs were dry & burnt, the chopped beef sandwich had more fat than meat. They only give 1 scoop of meat now. The baked potatoes had a 20 minute wait. Asked for barbecue sauce since it was only hot left on the cabinet & the cashier told me that’s all that’s left & to get 1 off the table. Mind you they were on occupied tables! The only response we got for these complaints is “it’s under new ownership”!
We just left about 10 minutes ago, and I could not wait to give a review. If this is Lubbock BBQ, I’ll be moving here. Lol The manager was so nice. The food was so flavorful and just all around good food. Nothing was old, everything was fresh. The cherry cobbler was good. I am just genuinely satisfied. I had the sandwich dinner with ham, beans and cold slaw. My husband had a 3 meat plate with ribs, habanero sausage and moist brisket, with baked potato and peach cobbler. Everything was A1!
Great food like always. J.R. was extremely professional. Came by our table to make sure we were enjoying our food. Thought he was the manager and not only the neat cutter. Of curse we will be back when we crave BBQ
Ordered brisket moist sandwich Sunday and was very disappointed! The brisket with the butter soaked bun very salty it was terrible, couldn't eat it, so gross. The peach cobbler was good so therefore you get 1 star.Thank you....RM
Good portions , we both had rib meals. Forgot a side a beans, didn't look that busy on a Tues to miss an item. Cobbler was good.
Seen a little pricey compared to what I pay in DFW area. For carry out, be sure to ask for B-B-Q sauce and pickles, onions, and peppers. They are not just included with carry out orders without asking.
We got takeout for six different people and everyone was very pleased with their food. The staff was friendly and helpful when we picked up and I would definitely go back. Unfortunately we only discovered back at the hotel that we were missing a side dish. Not major but a bit irritating nonetheless. We were just a bit too far to go back to get it.
Cafeteria style restaurant. They were out of several items, like ham, ribs, pulled pork. They were advertising fish and chips but didn't have malt vinegar , an absolute must! I ordered the chopped brisket plate with baked potato. Except for not being warm enough, the taste was excellent. Bathroom was clean. Self serve soda, drive thru window, large enough parking lot for a trailer. Handicap accessible. I recommend.
