So after driving for 7 hours my husband and I decided to stop here to relax and have a bite to eat. It was 230 when we got there and the hostess said it would be 5 min because they were in the middle of a shift change. No problem. Well 3 people walked in after us not even 2 min later and were seated and offered free drinks. We were polite and figured we would be seated as well. Nope. Stood there for a couple of minutes getting ignored. I don’t know if the food is good but the service was terrible. Don’t go here
Took daughter here for a meal after shopping nearby. We ordered some steaks, fried pickles, and drinks. Wait staff was very pleasant, willing to help with describing meals to my daughter as she made her choices. The steaks came out timely, cooked as requested. Steaks had a good flavor and nice marbling. The entire meal was good.
Have always loved aspen. So we decided to come for Mother’s Day with our family. I checked in they said hour and half wait. Was totally fine with it. Then we get a call our table is ready early! Was happy. Then come to find out we are seated all separately. Our server said it was fine for us to sit together. So we move together and the manager stopped us and told us we couldn’t sit together. There are clearly many tables opened servers where okay with everything but manger wasn’t and didn’t give us a reason why.
This was a great stop.I started off at the bar and tried a few of their seasonal treats. Service was friendly, the food good, and the noise level tolerable in an early Friday evening.Everyone needs to wash their hand these days, and the loo was clean and stylish. At first, I didn't notice the sparkles on the ceiling, but when I did, I laughed at the disco ball. All told, I spent exactly $50, including an over-sized tip for the great service. It would have been even better fun with a friend.
This has become out favorite place to eat in Lubbock. The service is always good. I have a favorite item I always order, Hawaiian Chicken. The quality never varies, and our servers have always been courteous, pleasant and helpful. Aspen Grill has a varied menu with something for everyone.
Food took a little long to come out but it was pretty good
First impressions. The restaurant is still fairly new to Lubbock and the vinyl seat cushions are cracking pretty badly. And I think my glass wasn't all the way clean. I had pretty much decided I wouldn't come back. Then I got the bison burger and it was fantastic, the fries made it even better. Really happy with the food, the other stuff needs some attention. I would like to taste that burger some more though, so I'll be back.
First time coming here wanted to try a new place. Went to the bar, barely got greeted. Had to ask for a menu. Then I said I would like to get some dessert to go. Bar tender gave me my bill I paid but didn’t get my dessert. I waited, SHE WENT HOME BUT I WAS STILL SEATING THERE WAITING for my dessert (I ordered it 10 minutes before closing so I thought that might be the reason it was taking so long, I didn’t want to be rude and rush anyone). Manger passed me multiple times after 40+ minutes he finally comes up to me. She never put my order in, so I wasted 40+ minutes for NOTHING!!!! The manager barely apologized!!!! Didn’t even try to make it up to me. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN AND NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. THE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE I’VE EVER HAD!!!
Good deals on wine during happy hour. Pow wow shrimp is pretty good, sometimes, depends on the cook. The ribs are terrible. Surprising they sell in Lubbock. If you want BBQ go next door to Bone Daddy’s.Other items are just okay. Generic and bland overall. Just another chili’s.
Food was very good. Had the pow wow shrimp, which was great, and the fried pickles. The special was 8 oz sirloin with two sides for $10.99 and it was great. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Wanted to try the fired cheesecake but non of us had any room. Service was excellent as well.
